It is good to see another piece from that performace. I think the Viola player is great, I wish they still had her in the Quartet.

Never seen before a string quartet with so much nice and bravo performers! This composition was dedicated to his wife. Borodin wrote it during their honeymoon in Heidelberg.

15분이 넘는데 처음부터 끝까지 지루한 부분이 없네요 영원히 현대적인 곡이라는 표현이 딱 들어맞는 것 같아요

Isn’t this arrangement by Ray Chen and the Berlin quartet (Made in Berlin) I saw it many years before this quartet. Just search Ray Chen and Satiation. This is beautiful but I like the way Ray and the other 3 Musicians play it, these girls even copied the stomping on the ground, which in the original the guys did it out of emotion (less scripted and more rousing)

It’s fitting that Borodin’s music is played by an all-women quartet as he was a supporter of female emancipation. Borodin encouraged women to become physicians and set up a scholarship fund for those so inclined. Borodin died of a heart attack at age 50 while dancing with his wife.
