Why the main Captain Station isn't on the 2nd Decks as some are starting to do now i really like that trend big time actually as it frees up an absolutely massive amount of Salon space for creative interior design work as lets face modern boats even dating back this far have become too cookie cutter😊

Hi Bob, our Selenes are full displacement yachts. Our cruise speed is 7-8 knots and the top speed is around 10.5 knots.

"Fast" doesn't apply to a SE Trawler unless you're comparing it to a slug. Slow is just fine.

I’m in Shilshole. What’s the true LOA of this boat? Would it fit in a 50’ with no overhang?

It depends whether or not the Selene 47 has a fixed or foldable swimstep. On "Kinship" it does have a foldable swimstep which puts its overall length at 49' 10". A fixed swimstep gives you about a 51' LOA. Hope this helps!

Video quality was excellent, but presentation was way too fast and it jumped around too much. I prefer a more guided tour, say from stern to bow and level by level so one can understand the layout. As I'm familiar with Selena trawlers I'm assuming that the laundry is behind the master state room and in front of the engine room, but it could be in the lazerette? From your presentation we have no way of knowing.

That jump through tour through the interior was too fast, so much so that I, and maybe many others, had difficulty taking in the details.

The boat is sublime. The music was horrid. Repetitious and without merit. I really want a Selene. Alas, I am just an upper-middle-class jerk and will never be able to afford one. But I can dream.
