Very nice. I like the galley right next to the pilot house so all can get in on the action. Makes it look bigger too. Very beautiful and spacious. Almost same as the 66'. Thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful 59 the quality all over it. Just stunning hats of to the owners that kept it that way that's one boat I would treasure if I owned it again BEAUTIFUL.

Good looking vessel. At first I wasn't sure about the location of the galley in the pilothouse, but the more I think about it the more I like it. It certainly makes the galley bright and airy.

the only thing I can criticise about Selenes is that I wish they had a dry exhaust.
@PacificNorthwestYachts7 жыл бұрын
A dry exhaust is an available option with Selenes and there are less than a handful of owners that have decided to do that.

This Selene with a John Deere engine is most efficient when cruising at 7 knots. At that speed you are burning approximately 3 gallons an hour. With a 2,000 gal fuel capacity, your maximum nautical mile range is approximately 4,600 miles.

Very nice, and clean as new, no matter what size boat your selling a clean vessel will always sell before one full of clutter and dirty, that tells me the owners didn't take care of it and I would think the same for the mechanical end of it. No different than your home.

very good looking , but why not twin engine ?
@PacificNorthwestYachts7 жыл бұрын
When building new, you have the options of installing twin engines. However, most of our Selene owners have decided against that for a number of reasons. 1. More horsepower won't achieve any advantages in performance. In fact, most of these boats are slightly overpowered. 2. Two engines means twice as much engine maintenance/twice the cost. 3. Not needed for maneuvering because all of our Selenes come with bow & stern thrusters which work wonderfully with our boats. 4. There are cheaper, equally effective ways of achieving a "get-home" capability. "Hathor" for example has a hydraulic get home drive with is powered by the generator. It runs the main shaft which is fully protected by the keel. You obviously can't plan for every potential scenario but we feel the hydraulic get home drive is the best options if you need the piece of mind.

And how about the price?
@PacificNorthwestYachts5 жыл бұрын
This particular Selene was a used boat that sold for approximately 1.2M USD. A new Selene 60 would be about 2M USD, depending on options.

No Wing Engine?
@PacificNorthwestYachts4 жыл бұрын
Wing engines & Get-Home drives are optional equipment. This particular yacht was outfitted with a Wesmar Get-Home Drive which is powered by the generator and controls the main shaft. With a proper size generator and clearance for the drive, our yachts can be retrofitted for the Get-Home System.

Is this a steel hull or fiberglass?
@PacificNorthwestYachts3 жыл бұрын
All of the Selenes are built with a fiberglass hull & structure
