I had to do the same thing with the digitizer (and lcd) plus I completely reshelled it with one of the translucent shells from extremerate. I did it after customizing a bunch of joycons (i think 6 or 7 sets) and I did it successfully. It was great, I love my switch lite, I have an oled too and I switch between the two often. I want to get the oled screen from taki udon but it's sold out right now, plus I have no money at all right now

Sweet, just did this on a Japanese 70000. Legit American PS2 discs loading , can even do legit PS2 PAL discs via a launcher.

I provided some party music for my neighbours ..and amongst my hard ware was a Cassette Deck ...And I must have spent more time explaining to the party goers what an actual Cassette is ?? and what they are ....Oh and the party went really well they loved my vinyl mixing...physical media forever..

I really love your approach to reviewing and comparing these. Yes, other channels can dive deeep into the minutia of the tech, and they're great, but your video is just more practical (and fun) to watch for me.

Fun video. I love the look of the Bubble. I'm with you on OG hardware though. I like the idea of retro handhelds but I just never know what I'd play on them. I kinda feel like the options are pay a bunch for a lot of power for consoles I'd never play because who wants to play PS2 on a tiny screen like that or go cheap because I'd only play like SNES and make sacrifices in other aspects. I do admire these companies are trying out funky designs though. Maybe one day I'll find one that jus speaks to me and I have to have.

Just got into playing my ps2 and this is in pre_order 😢.

I love the Cube XX. I wish it was built as solidly as the original Cube and offered better colors, but for a 1:1 screen, it has enough power to play everything that works well on that screen.

I laughed at the design of the Cube. Didn't see a point in it. Then I saw someone showcase ds games and I was sold. The best way to play DS and 3ds games are on official hardware but this is q close second. The way the screens stack are nice and the fact that it's android means you get the touch screen. Plus I can use cheats, turbo buttons and increase speed to get through some more tedious aspects of some games. Might be too weak for some 3ds games, some slow down at native resolution. This is not a bad device for GB/C/A as well. Just slap an overlay on it in retroarch and what bezels? Really love me Cube.

These devices are coming out at such a rapid pace that by the time you get the money for one, a better version comes out. It's tough to choose with all the options.

Pretty cool build. Got me moving from resurrecting old consoles for my collection to personalizing a console for me. Buying trashed consoles for chips is a special kind of madness lol. I would like a PoCo build for around the house. Been eyeing FunnyPlaying's GBA board to make use of the chips from an acid drenched GBA.

Love my Cube. Great for DS, 3DS, and vertical arcade shooters. Only okay for other systems. Amazing dpad but garbage thumbsticks.
