Had mine for at least 5 years. Starts first pull every time. Heaps of power. The best mower I`ve ever owned. Previous mower was a 4 stroke Victa that cost me over $400 10years ago. Absolute piece of rubbish.

Will a 120mm beam fit under the feed to make an indentation in it?
@DanielSmedegaardBuus
@DanielSmedegaardBuus Сағат бұрын
It can cut up to 305 mm, and there's an adjustable stopping screw that can be used to set the cutting depth, so you can make indentations like that. I haven't bought mine yet, still looking for reviews, so I've only seen this in other videos, and have no experience of my own doing it.

Ive had mine for about 7-8 years now and had no issues. Have you come to the stage of either sharpening or replacing the blades? My 2 local mower stores wont sharpen Ryobi blades so wondering if you sharpened them yourself or purchased the replacement blades?

I just got a 2nd hand girl today. Fuck me dead shes a fatty; good bloody arm an leg workout on the hills an nooks. Just wondering if I can transplant this over to a decent body like a Masport? Shes loud an shes strong. Neighbours got a fright when I sparked this bad lassy up. Def need the ol ear muffs. Any ideas on how to make it catch grass better?; bloody thing leaves shit everywhere; not to mention she pisses grass dust out those green vents - fuck me they need a filter themselves

Yes, the audible stops you can see in the video are just there to help getting to those most-used angles quickly. You can lock it at any angle between 0 and 45 degrees.

Best of luck Engine's fine but the rest of its junk Mines cut 500sq metres of flat grass less than 20 times and theres issues The paint coatings flaking off badly the centre folding handle joint is very poorly designed mines already loose and mine's loose and ive had to try reshape it but ill probably need to weld it solid The deck and bag shoot clogs very easy plus the foam handle is already falling apart
@toemas8
@toemas8 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s coming up to three years still going strong. I actually hit it with the water blaster and was amazed at how good it looks pretty good, below and above the deck no rust. I do agree the handle isn’t great … the foam started to come apart after year 2 . If the grass is wet it does tend to clog up especially when the catcher is almost full. I have been lucky I guess…

There seem to be a number of drill brands out there with standard 500W hammer drills. Probably all have the same motor. I still have my first hammer drill from almost 20 years ago, and it looks so similar to this one, except a bit cheaper looking (the markings for forward and reverse are literally scrawled into the plastic on either side, freehand, I kid you not, straight from the factory). It is a "Revolution" 500w Chinese hammer drill, and surprise surprise, the thing is still going strong. Yeah, you can't pick em. It has done an absolute tonne of work, all round my house, and outside too. Even doubles as my paint mixer. Remember that name guys, Revolution, tools that go round and round. $10 from Big W back in the day lol.

*I bought two of these to double-team a 2/3 acre plot with my friend.🚜 **allabout.wiki/Ryobi-13** We used to use a mowing service, but $140/month was adding up fast. We needed lawn equipment, and rather than spend $1200 on a cheap ridable mower, we spent the same amount with GreenWorks on two of these mowers, four 2AH batteries, two rechargers, a blower and a trimmer. I'm glad I did. These mowers are easy to push, plow through thick grass, can be used at night due to their low noise, are effortless to start, don't stink of gas, and I love always having a charged battery available. I've found that a battery can fully charge before I drain a battery (~45 minutes), so the two of us never have to stop. We get our yard done in about 1.5 hours and hardly break a sweat. We have been mowing weekly and actually enjoy doing it, despite the two of us claiming we hated mowing grass. Seems we only disliked the inconveniences that gas-powered equipment bring. Thank you GreenWorks for making lawn care fun for us.*

had to return mine after 4 week, the head assembly would move and contact/power was lost unless the whole tool was slightly twisted, Bunnings Aust replaced with no issues, but I notice the new machine also has the same but only slight movemnt in the head, so something to be wary off and not apply to much pressure to your work piece when using the tool, otherwise a great tool, Cheers Garry

it's as if the Flymo is a flying line trimmer/weed eater. But I like it because it's light, omni-directional and suits an intuitive type like me who doesn't mind flying grass. Petrol mowers are beasts but I just can't handle them. Good to know about the spacers too. Thanks man
