I clicked on this expecting an interview with wolfie ( cuz he is such a fun, interesting guy) but was pleasantly surprised to hear your take in summarizing Wolfie. There are so many clickbait robovoice vids about him that are awful. You actually took the time to give a great summary of who is he. He deserves the best. He is his own person as Eddie wanted him to be. Eddie was said that Wolfie was the future. Such a loving proud father. Anyway, great video by you and i definitely be relistening to this many more times ( and also subscribing).

Wolf doesnt need to take his dads throne. Wolfie is here to build his own legacy and his won welldeserved throne. Yes, he is 100% Eddies and Vals son but he was taught to be his own person. And that he is. He is so multitalented. Eddie immersed him in musi but never pushed him. He wanted to see what musical magic wolfie had with, not have wolfie be a carbon copy of him. Wolfiie is phenominal! as someone who loved eddie from the beginning, it it so sweet to have Wolfie who has that joy in music that eddie had and so at my old age ( late 50s), i am now love wolfie as I was eddie ( in a musical way, not a stalker, lol. Wolfie has such a gorgeous sweet wife!) He has such a great, sweet personality. They seem so happy and in love.

Wow, great summary and assessment of Wolfie. I was once a teen, such a VH fan and loving Eddie for all that he was. I also loved Valerie so them getting together was amazing to think the child they would have. I have always loved Wolfie just because i know how much his parents wanted and loved him. Their miracle baby! But wolfie, now grown, just as his own person is phenomenal! His talent is boundless. He can do it all and does it with that same joy that Eddie had. And he is so damn nice and so supportive of talking good about about other musicians. I am an old woman now , approaching 60 and i am such a fan of his. It amuses me to think that Wolfie has a solid fan base up here in the geriatric population. We love Wolfie!!

So this is what it’s come to? Homemade fan- gossip “podcasts” masquerading as some unofficial commentary on a supposed “reality” that exists wherein this guy is the mediator in some world inhabited by DLR, JasonBonham etc? It’s not Van Halen circa 1985, that’s the era anyone cares about, it’s ancient history anyway, so: who cares? You want to sort out the reality of some cobbled together Version of Van Halen and the inner band intrigue surrounding not hot 21 year old groupies but rather the milfish 42 year old accountant with a Gucci Handbag, whether or not Jason Bonham- son to the REAL legend - “thinks” this is Dave’s Girlfriend, she has the crews checks…?!!!?#%#! I have a better idea: go listen to Running with the Devil-Eruption- You Really Got Me.

The Frehley/Singer Line Up ans Criss/Thayer lineup... Where Do you rank them?
@stevelongmusic880
@stevelongmusic880 3 күн бұрын
Well, I know I didn't include either in my list. Singer played like 15 dates with Ace, but I would probably put them right before the Eric Carr/Ace, just because Ace was not at his best during the Elder, and they were all but broken up. As for Criss and Thayer, well I would rate that lower again because it was short lived and Peter wasn't up to his original ability at the time. I dunno. What do you think? Thanks for watching!

Interesting about Ace Frehley is that he didn't have much of a formal training in guitar like he didn't really know how to read chords, scales, notes, etc. most of his early years are pretty much him doing what sounded right for him. Dude is pure personal craft. He doesn't follow any scales most were made his own pattern which is pretty cool! Love Ace and Kiss!

1:03 already there is a mistake… Mark Toured with KISS…together with Bruce, there were Shows when KISS had both of them in the same stage the same show…with both of them playing 50% of the show each… Also I miss the Paul/Gene/EricS/Ace Lineup, I Miss the Paul/Gene/Peter/Tommy Lineup here too… And if we are getting picky, there also would be the 3 different 3 Person lineups, that sometime happened… and also there was the Paul/Gene/Eddie/Ace show

Enjoyed the video. Imo, Fair Warning is the best VH album. Every musician is at the top of their game and the songs rock. My only beef is the strange mix on So This is Love. After that is 1984 and WACF. I think 1984 might be their most solid album start to finish.

The best lineup is Gene, Paul, Bruce, and Eric! They were the best musically, and vocally, plus they weren't like Ace and Peter always walked out on drugs and alcohol. Ace would often be late for practice and shows, and not work on his solos. Ace always thought he was getting screwed with money, and was so paranoid about it. Peter was too much of a drama queen, and Gene and Paul would have to have someone come in, write, and play Peter's parts, then teach him how to play it. The original band was a very dysfunctional band.

Obviously motley crue is not motley crue without the 4 original members. They tried to replace people before and they flopped. Its nothing against the other musicians they Obviously are extremely talented, but mick is the building block that made them into MOTLEY CRUE!! Nikki sixx is the only one who could be replaced and the sound that is Motley Crue wouldn't change a bit. Granted he is the main song writer but nobody can replicate mick playing

Ace's last name is pronounced "frelly," like belly, NOT freely! Listen to the way Ace pronounces it in the song "Rock Soldiers," by Frehley's Comet, the band he started after he left KISS ("Hey, Frehley, Frehley, let's not be silly. There's a life out there to steal!"). Also, Paul Stanley pronounces it correctly during "Shock Me," on Alive II: "Ace Frehley, lead guitar! Shock Me!"

Yeah, Ace can be sloppy, but he was always a little bit anyway. Like Jimmy Page, I think that was part of his charm. Some of his stuff recently he has been sloppier than he used to be, other times he's on the money. He said recently that he celebrated his 18th year of sobriety, so I hope that is true and he continues for his sake. Thanks for watching!
