I agree... I dont mean any disrespect for John 5, he is a wonderful guy... But kicking Mick Mars out of the band to insert John 5 in, is like patching and old torn up pair of pants with a piece of new cloth... Which as a matter of fact, will end up being unfair even to John 5 himself... What will happen with John 5 when another one, or even worse, all of the original members die, become sick or too old to play??? I'm not saying it will be the end of the World, of course he can get more gigs, but, I don't know, maybe a feeleing of loss if he gets attached to the emotionaly as a brotherhood as it commonly happens with banda members... I don't know... Just letting imagination fly...

Anyway, I was x at the first show ,at a place called Pookies, no fight, basically no people, buy I met the manager, micks brother in law, who dumped a half million into the band, with the promise that he would be repaid when Motley got their advance when they got the record deal,instead they fired him and wrote the song bastard about,him,that should tell you what they are like! It's hard to say this when they treated me great! Comment: MC may end up being a great Tribute Band. Just like what KIZZ (Kiss) did in where they have this extensive catalog of songs. This band (referring to MC) can also be compared to Luis Miguel (an international singer). LM (Luis Miguel) has not even released any new material in several years and the young man is making millions of dollars by touring and singing his hit songs to his fans. MC, I believe, will be heading down that road. Greg Leon is better than John 5 but Mr. Leon said that he would never join the band. I think MC can survive by doing this, but I don't believe that they will ever be releasing any new material. I think those days' are Over. March 30, 2024. USA

I’ve been a huge Mötley fan since shout at the devil and it hurts me to see and hear vince just being horrible live. I mean I don’t expect any singer to be perfect live but it’s obvious that Vince doesn’t put in the work. He’s lazy all the way around and I come from a work hard family. So to see Vince being a millionaire and has the resources to be better and not caring enough to go out and be the best version of himself just sucks. And by him being that way it’s a reflection on the other guys

Motley hasn't sounded like Motley since Hell on Highheels. To me that's the last true Crue song That I've heard.

Yep, I messed up, that was Vince. Corabi was on the Motley Crue album. Sorry about that, thanks for watching!

Umm the first guitarist for Motley was Greg Leon not Mick bub get it right if your gonna deal dive
@stevelongmusic8809 күн бұрын
I appreciate the input. Greg played with Tommy first, didn't like Nikki as he felt his playing ability wasn't up to snuff and told Tommy if that was who he wanted to play bass, he was out. Technically, this wasn't Motley Crue yet as Greg never played a gig with them, he left when Nikki joined the band, Vince wasn't in the band yet, and Mick came up with the name Motley Crue. Besides that, this was more about Mick, than the origins of Motley Crue. Thanks for watching!

Mick Mars is motley crue. Dogs of war is the proof

Yeah I agree, John 5 is great, but it's not working for me. Thanks for watching!

A band too fucked up by their drug use to know that they are dead without Mick Mars! Time will tell!!!

Making up an alias to avoid paying for your kids is a scumbag thing to do. Truth be told it's just one of the many things Mick has done to sour his reputation thru the years. That said in a band like Motley Crue, it's pretty par for the course to be a bad human being.

This isn't accurate? No one spit on vince there was no fight at the starwood. I was upstairs in the vip section. I also went to school with their first photographer. The first photo shoot was in cerritos calif. I lived down the street and there's pictures .

That's cool, wish I was there!. I did preface that a lot of the info was coming from the book and there could be discrepancies. Good to hear from someone with first hand experience! Thanks for watching!

@stevelongmusic880 just some friendly advice i would fact check things in the books. Another example nikki s story about his audition with quiet riot is b.s. read or watch what kevin Dubrow said.
@stevelongmusic880Ай бұрын
Well, I did use their book The Dirt for some of this also, but it was more about Mick that the whole band. Unfortunately, there's not a ton out there about Mick by himself. But great advice, appreciate it!

It would just serve Nikki Sixx right that the Crue should be relegated to the dustbin of irrelevance. Mick Mars was, is, and forever will be Crue. Without him, Crue is doomed, and rightfully so for their shameful treatment of Mick Mars.

Obviously motley crue is not motley crue without the 4 original members. They tried to replace people before and they flopped. Its nothing against the other musicians they Obviously are extremely talented, but mick is the building block that made them into MOTLEY CRUE!! Nikki sixx is the only one who could be replaced and the sound that is Motley Crue wouldn't change a bit. Granted he is the main song writer but nobody can replicate mick playing

Agreed, John 5 and Corabi are awesome, but its just not Crue. Thanks for watching!

@stevelongmusic8803 ай бұрын
@@antonioarroyo2347 I see what you’re saying, and you have a point. I personally am trying to say the magic you are talking about, which I agree was there, is gone when one of them leaves. Thanks for watching!

Motley Crue the world's most dangerous band????? LOL... nobody ever said anything like that!
@stevelongmusic8804 ай бұрын
Well, actually, several of the rock mags and record execs did call them that in regards to their excessive drug use, sex, arrests, etc. essentially all the problems they caused for the record companies. However, Guns and Roses has been referred to by this as well, even a documentary called that about them (probably fits them better in my opinion). And Paul Schaffer's band was actually named the World's Most Dangerous Band. If you don't know who he was, he was the band leader on the David Letterman Show as well as on Saturday Night Live in the 70s. All in all, it's all hype anyway. Thanks for watching!
