Why is this dumbass advertising algae eaters, and giving us mainly fish that dont eat algae xD
@bruhn3xus269 сағат бұрын
idk maybe i'm not knowledgeable enough, but I feel like that tank is way too small to be keeping fish in. Your fish barely have any room to swim around in. what are your schooling fish supposed to do? swim around in circles forever? I could understand putting some shrimp and a few snails in a tank like this, but I definitely would not be putting schooling fish in that tank. I know for a a fact that if i was a schooling fish living in that tank, I'd feel really claustrophobic.

I have a full grown chinese algae eater - very sweet and shy, never bothers anyone. In the same tank are 12 silver mollies and they keep the tank very clean. Thanks for the tip about adding a little salt to the tank for the mollies.

I love bladder snails. They're cute, active, and they can swim on the surface if there's not too much agitation which is fun to watch. The snail in the video is not a bladder snail.

Livebearers were the first fish I ever had. I eventually moved towards angels and then African cichlids. But returned to guppies and started a whole breeding project with them. Livebearers will always be special to me!

Thank you for showing how to set up smaller tanks. So many channels practically shame people for using a small tank.

Looking forward to the disease video. My female bettas stopped eating and I lost all of them. I don't know what it was, but none of the standard fungal / bacterial / salt treatment worked at the time. I never tried seachem medications but I heard they might have worked. Who knows.

The live-bearers were the first community fish I was introduced to as a child. Swordtails & mollies were introduced to my native Trinidad and Tobago many years ago. In my youth I caught hundreds of green swordtails and a variety of Molly that I've not seen anywhere else... greyish silver body up to 4 & 1/2 inches long with metallic blue and/or green spotting in both its sailfin type dorsal & caudal. Very beautiful molly it was. I say was as I have not seen any for several years.

I find these fish great as Algae eaters. I have lots of Platties living with a musk turtle. They spend all day eating the Algae of the back of the tank and off the leaves. I was surprised you did not mention them in your video on Algae eating fish. I think they would of done great in your Test to see who goes to eat the Algae. Love your Videos. I'm surprised you don't have more subscribers.

Recently added guppies to my community tank and suddenly I am in love with them. The Tequila Sunrise guppies added so much color and top swimming that my tank needed. This is a great video it is very helpful to see the various colors so I can plan a future addition or maybe a whole new tank.

Usually lead weights are covered with rubber or something to keep the lead from poisoning anything, but yes lead is incredibly toxic.

I'm new to the hobby and after months of searching I finally found my favorite fish at the local petco. They had finally got there shipment. It's a red tail shark and it was very hard to find anyplace that had any. I herd it is because they are very hard to breed, so a lot of breeders don't choose to breed them. Is this true?

In the exhibition poultry world we bred out a lot of wild/dominant genes while breeding for docility & temperament. So all chickens basically are recessive genes upon recessive genes that only exist in the population/trade. I have MGBs & Sebrights which rarely crow & never fight. I can see the same being done for Bettas. While improving the “Glowing” Betta line, might as well breed out aggression at the same time.
