I really appreciate your review, I'm interested in this tent. I don't think the site you linked for the tent is legitimate, though. I think Walmart is the only retailer for Ozark Trail products, and this tent is still $80 through them. Still doesn't seem like a bad deal though. Thanks again.

I'm SO glad you got the fudge cake. Barker's is known for their fudge cake, it's the specialty, and honestly it's what everyone GOES to Barker's for. Their breakfast sandwiches are pretty good, I've never actually had lunch there. I had classes at the Northeast State campus just up the road, across from Moody airport, and I'd run down to Barker's to get a decent, cheap breakfast sometimes if I got in early enough that I had time before my first class.

This was interesting to see. I grew up in Roan Mountain and going to downtown Elizabethton was always a treat. I no longer live in Tennessee, I just come back to visit my parents, but I remember some of these shops. Picket Fence has been there FOREVER, as has Ritchie's Furniture. There used to be a cafe called the Duck Duck Goose inside the Duck Crossings antique store, it had the BEST food. Was so sad when it shut down. There also used to be a little shop called Retro Toys that had ALL the old Star Wars, Transformers, and TMNT toys a collector could ever ask for, and some other fun stuff besides. I loved that place. Dunno if it's still there or not, but man, many mowing-yards pocket money was spent there.

I purchased this tent & will be returning as I found it too hard to take down. The Aldi's in my area is small, not at all as you describe yours. A German import, so we do pay 25cents to get a cart which is returned.

On Maui the red ozark one person tent at Wally World is $34.00! Still a bargain for a one person tent. However, I would have to agree that I love orange too. In addition, I think I am gonna get one of those Orange inflatable " Wise Owl Outfitter" pillows. I just bought one and set it up in the yard. My trip starts 7/31/24. I did see on one of the other reviews online that someone else's rain fly pole broke. I sure hope mine doesn't!

ilike the table (and price). at sporting good stores (rei) tables go for $60 to $300 bucks. yes they may be better but just to use for a picnic or car camping this is the bomb. (again price can't beat). now the tent if not waterproofed can be made to be and tape your seams yourself. this would be a perfect car tent so if need a quick tent/shelter this would be it. (for one person) at the price buy 2. again i'd waterproof it and seam it.

You can also make fasteners to pull out the fly with plastic bottle tops

You spray those foam blades with water and it cools down even better. That’s what therefore.
