OMG this is so cute, i have a mini book jar so everytime i read a book i do the mini version of it and throw it there, you inspire me to make this as my desk decor hack: if you cant find foamboard or something like that(like in my country) you can use double sided tape, the normal mounting tape to make the books and it is already sticky on both sides :3

Every amazing KZbinr began with that first nervous offering. Really enjoyed your video, I hope you keep going and become a source of regular, consistent inspiration for me. I’m just getting back into reading after finally having time in retirement. You’re brave to put yourself out there.

What is a trope????
@thejellyfishjournals15 күн бұрын
A trope is an often-used topic/theme/storyline in a book. They tend to pop up frequently in books of the same genre. So for example, a common trope in thriller novels is a character being lied to by their spouse. It comes up a lot, and is usually a main point of the plot. Hope this helps! 🪼

I like the matrix style of book bracket where you take all your 5 stars (or whatever) and set them up in a matrix so they all get compared against each other to find the order of preference because it does eliminate all the issues with things like the two best books being in the same month. And you get a whole list in order instead of just a face off winner! They aren't as "cute" though so I think we don't see them as much on pinterest/youtube/etc
@thejellyfishjournals25 күн бұрын
YES! I saw this method too late, but I agree it would result in much more accurate results. I'm thinking next year I'll do both styles, I'm curious to see how they line up! I'm glad you knew what I was talking about with the problems I have with a typical book bracket, although they ARE cuter! 🪼
@readingdino71126 күн бұрын
Thanks for the inspiration. I might start doing something like that once my Bible arrives (as a spread per chapter).
