9:11 i noticed that too, usually the ground stays in a good clump where i am, but theres always the odd one that crumbles, helps that my area usually stays fairly wet, more days of the year its damp then dry, especially in the spring when the snow melts and fall when it rains a lot

I like hunting sidewalk strips but it seems like every time I do it someone comes out and says I can’t be there. One time they called the police on me. The officer was nice and told me I could do whatever I wanted as long as I stayed between the road and the sidewalk. I gotten to where I don’t even try the strips anymore because of the harassment.

A modern nickel is always going to be a 13 on that Vanquish. I love mine. I miss my root slayer shovel. I’m using a Garrett shovel right now. It’s not as good.

I asked for permission at the local gas station. I found $10 in clad in about 6 hours digging over 4 days.

I had this one guy freaking all making holes in the park get to my face and everything calls me a goof and you name it just because of 2 in who is pissing me off I end up falling in a please tell him he's harassing me and threatening

Nice to see you out detecting again Jamie 👍 Some of my finds since I've seen you a gold ring, a few silver rings, 2 silver necklaces, some wheaties, a couple of silver coins, a couple silver earrings, a gold plated men's ring, a heart stopper of a woman's ring I don't think it's real though, a rose gold Pandora charm, old harmonica reed, and a 1865-2 cent piece. There maybe more but I can't remember 😂😂😂 Keep the videos coming bud 👊👊👊

Mikey do you live in a big city? It sounds like you do very well, especially compared to me, I've found some old relics in my town but the gold and silver is hard to come by here

@digginggopher I have about 10 high school's within a 15 mile radius from where I live. If you want to count middle and elementary school's you can triple that number.⬆️ Parks is about the same if not more and in my travels I have only seen 1 other detectorist, so I have a huge advantage where I am. There is also a metal detecting club in my area that my brother belongs to but, I will never join it after hearing about some of the 🐂💩 that happens with it.

I think you can use that small coil on your Vanquish on the EQ as well!!!! My Nokta coils aren't interchangeable but do believe minelab coils are!!! Heck i got a V-10 coil ill donate to your channel!!!!

Vanquish coils are not interchangeable with the equinox, totally different machines.

The Vanquish 340 and 440 come with a V10 coil. What he needs is the V8 coil for better target ID in those trashy areas. The V8 goes for 100 bucks on Amazon which isn't to bad given that the manticore M8 is 251.00 and the M9 is 275.00.

Do you ever get any karens or upset people out there for metal detecting close to their house? Looks like fun but the way a lot of people are today you never know. I'd like to find a Mexican silver peso. Got a 440 also but haven't used it much. Need to get out there and metal detect more.

They gave them coin money to buy in the coal companies food stores and cloths they got a way with that for awhile until the government stopped them crooked bastards I found one of those old store token s at a very old farm field

Coal companies were really dirty back then. My grandpa told me stories about not getting paid for days because they were loading rock and not coal.

That was a tube of Brylcream,its been around since 1928,they still sell it at major stores like Walmart and such,that particular tube looked like it may have benn from the 1950's excellent content sir
