New sub here and long time equinox user, my 800 is my back machine now but when I used it all the time, I always used all metal. It seems to pick up coins with a more solid signal, to me anyway

I have a 540 and have a hard time with the numbers since the VDI only goes to 40…. Used to it going to 99. But I’ll keep working with it. Suggestion: have an ending to your video, don’t just cut away.

It's not the years of it. That was so awesome. I have been to that place a bunch of times with my old detector and the first time I went there with my new one I found a little coin spill that has a peace of metal wire over top of them. The recovery speed is a lot faster on the Knox .just put away the vanquish .

Me I found even with a manticore one will miss heaps the 800 even on beach I have used gold mode picked up rings that do not come up in beach mode 1 and bloody 2 17 of them came in at a 9 and 6 7 12 11 2. Last hunt field 2 50c coins off the chart 23 all upso far. Some coins like VF condition there 75.00 dollar coins one 1919 half penny was 15 ins.

Love my nox 5 years awesome machine I run 10mhz about all the time silver and gold 12 13 gold and 10 and 27 is mostly silver bought manticore disappointed it's to sensitive dig all machine

The manticore isn't a equinox my friend, it's a lot more diverse than the 800 meaning you can set the machine to do anything you want it to do.if your just park bashing the manticore might be a little over the top .minelab actually made it that way because they realised in Europe finds in the field were becoming harder to locate. So decided to to offer those features which your on about being so touchy.this enables the detectorist to put those settings let's say more on the edge, so its upto him to set it up correctly. The nox 800 and 600 are simpler versions which may be more suitable for your style of detecting.
