Made me cry because your Nanna reminded me of my own nanna , (and grand father ) Grand daddy Tom Butler was born in 1900 Ballycahill so had a similar accent , Your Nanna's stories so similar.. This is amazing. Listening to her speak reminds me so much of my mom. I'm trying to find any relatives we may have in the Cashel area. My mom was born in the county home/Presentation Convent on June 5, 1925, Mary Lonergan. Mother on birth cert was listed as Johanna Lonergan, and that is about all I have. She was raised in the Presentation Convent, until she left and went to London for work.
