Have you? Since you're asking it's the first club to stage an FA Cup Final. As well as the first club to build a purpose-built football stadium. First club to have a four-side stadium with two-tier stands. First club to have a stadium with a three-tier stand. First club to install dugouts. First club to install undersoil heating! (Did you knwo that?) First British club to stage a World Cup semi-final. Rivalry was empowered by ruling Hradec over Pardubice during period 1960-1989 when Hradec inflicted harmful treatment on Pardubice which caused probably irreversible losses in areas of health care and transportatio.

Zlin is unfortunately kinda boring city to visit, beyond looking around the Svit factory grounds, and maybe checking out the Bata housing projects, there isn't really much to see in the city proper. The city was basically a tiny vilage before Bata developped it. But if you ever get to visit Zlin again, I highly recommend visiting the Zlin Zoo just outside the city, it is stunning (actually the 2nd most visited Zoo in Czechia, just behind Prague). Also there are some amazing historical towns and sites around Zlin, like Kromeriz, Vizovice (stunning chateau, also big liquor factory with distillery museum) or Luhacovice (spa town). Also fun fact about FC Zlin, after they won the domestic cup in 2017, they were in Europa league group stages, but unfortunately, they had to play home games in Olomouc. Also unfortunately, they completely mismanaged the money from Europa league, gone conpletely shite and were relegated just this year.

Let me correct you on why there is such a rivality between Slovan and Spartak... it dates back to 1942, when forward and a big star of Trnava (then ŠK Rapid) František Masarovič made a transfer to Slovan (then ŠK Bratislava). Trnava fans were absolutely angry, because they felt betrayed by both player and the clubs. In 60s there were more transfers between these clubs and whenever one player moved to the rival club, it made the fans really angry. In late 60s both clubs made a success on European level (Trnava reached semifinal of European Champions Cup and Slovan won the Cup Winners' Cup), which added a fuel to the existing rivalry. And even now, Slovan is currently the most successful club with 5 league titles in a row, aiming for the 6th, while Trnava grabbed a few Slovak Cup titles, sometimes with Slovan as its opponent in the finals.

I have seen this comment a few times, and Im gonna try my best to make it for the game in April. But since it is the last derby of the league, and Slovan most likely champions, do you think it will still be good atmosphere? or its always one of those derbies that everyone is on smokeee everytime they meet?

@@thefootballpolitician7773 in Trnava is always great atmosphere on derby because we don't care about the result or position in the table, but in april SFZ ( Slovak Football Association) closed our ultras tribune so u should visit derby in Trnava next season for better experience :)
