the thing that amazes me about this season is that they actually included a couple of filler episodes to the shortened story. The total episode count for the full 5 seasons was originally set to be 98 episodes (when they renewed it for the 5th season as it was meant to have just 10 episodes) but I believe but they had to increase it by 2 more episodes once they started filming the 5th season in order to get it up to the 100 episodes it would need for it to be enough episodes for it to be sold into syndication, which is where a studio hires the rights for other channels and services to show the series on their own networks, when a show hits 100 episodes and is why 100 episodes is an important milestone for any series.

What I like about this episode was that they gave beastboy credit for what he did

I have always loved the cinematography of this show. The way Nygma always has green light from a sign coming into his apartment really highlights who he is destined to become. Even the costume department hints at his destiny. With every episode he wears more and more green, starting with light almost not noticeable green to slightly darker shades and eventually full on Riddler green when he finally accepts his identity. The visual hints and nods to the various characters' future identities is just chef's kiss in this show.
