If you ever decided you need some extra money ey, you could probably charge a fair amount to custom design and install these for people with spoiled cats. Now that you have worked out a lot of the kinks, you could be pretty quick and efficient, and many people would pay a good deal for something this nice and safety conscious as well.

I have some large sturdy limbs in interesting configurations that were trimmed from my trees and I immediately thought about a genuine cat "tree", so this has helped me visualize what to do in order to make it a reality.

So attractive and practical. A dream come true for indoor cats ! Thank you for sharing and yes, it would be great to see an extension/bridge for this cat tree.

I loved the tree, but the litter box should be away from the rest area/tree, and away from food and water.

I've been thinking of how to construct a natural wood ladder so our cats can get up on top of a wall that goes around our living room. It wouldn't be exactly like what you've done, but i got a lot of good ideas from watching how you approach this. Beautiful work!

Beautiful! But if you are not using the heater, you could also have removed it. Then the base could have been placed another 8 to 10 cm toward the window. Too bad there was no part 2, I would have loved to see how the bridge turned out!

Awww. You really have an incredible vid here. It’s the best cat tree I’ve seen, and I’ve tried looking for them here. Yours is easy to follow, well narrated, and very friendly to watch. Being Dutch doesn’t hurt either. The most kind people I’ve come across and I’ve travelled all over North America and spent 6 mths in Netherlands …. And I’m Canadian so you know I know who’s nice. I have a branch in my yard. What a neat idea. I think I will try that.

You should hollow out the branches, and the litter boxes can go into the hollowed out branches, so the soiled litter will come out of the bottom of the branches, then a hose goes from the bottom of the branches into the toilet bowl

I’m not an engineer so I think I’d secure the branches from the ceiling, too. I always suspend my Christmas trees😂 I don’t have to tell you why.

If u live near a forest fire area you’ll find lots. My neighbor had a huge dead oak tree & I asked for the branches. I got them, free😀. Maybe contacting a tree trimming business.😊
