These are either incorrect results or Nvidia has started to cut the performance of the 4090. I have no other explanation for why there is such a small difference between the 4080s and 4090. There are many comparisons of these cards on KZbin, the difference is much greater there.

I own an intel i7 14700k, because I already had a z790 board after owning an i7 12th gen. I got my i7 14700k for $280 at Micro Center because it was open box but still maintained original warranty, which is good until September 2029. If I would've bought an AMD processor, I would've had to spend like $850: $200 Mobo + $200 DDR5 + $450 CPU.. I am only out of pocket $80 cause I sold my i7 12th gen for $200 shortly after. I got to keep my DDR4 4000 Dominator platinums, which for gaming, aren't all that bad.

@@MM-os6um Only problem was when I first tried XMP, and it didn't want to boot. I had to wait till the system did a CMOS reset and then upped the voltage on the ram to 1.4V and its been solid, not a crash or anything. Have clocked over 300 hours of gaming.

Xmp not always did well but tried Aİ support motherboard it's kind of magic.. try to purchase ai motherboard it's still expensive but I'm by it will go down in Price..

Guys dont be dumb the reason for this FPS difference is not due to the chipset of the motherboard, but to the maximum RAM frequency supported by the motherboard. (Example: You use 7200 MHZ ram but Gigabyte A620M Gaming AX only supports 6400 MHZ maximum so your ram is running 6400 not 7200)

the x870E is definitely not worth almost double the price (with the exception of the asrock nova that's always out of stock) for roughly 5% performance improvement. Main thing im waiting on now is to see the performance difference between both chipset with 5000 series cards.

what about 8000+MT rams? I heard ultra 285k performs way better with high speed rams. Is it true? And apart from a couple of games 285k doesn't look that far (only 2 to 4 fps) behind as most youtubers are saying. So who is telling the truth and who is lying?

@@mits00009 usage is lower because intel CPUs have more cores. Games don't use all cores fully so usage% is a useless stat. (unless you look at single cores individually). Also if the GPU is at 100% then a stronger CPU does not give you more FPS.

1080p is used for CPU gaming performance tests because it minimizes GPU limitations, allowing the CPU's impact on frame rates to be more visible. At 4K, the GPU usually becomes the bottleneck.

Agreed here too. While it's 'interesting' to see the performance difference at 1080p, it's meaningless to those that want to know if the 'new' architecture has any impact at 1440p/4k. Videos like this are far more helpful than most of the big name reviewers.

Instructive criticism: 1. For being a "benchmarking empire" channel, you should know that you test cpu's at 1080p, not 1440p or 4k. That is why most of these tests are bottlenecking around the same fps. 2. Your graphs are extremely poor and should be organized high to low. Why are they randomly organized? The organization makes no sense. Put the high fps cpus at the top and low cpus at the bottom. Again you should know better on how to construct graphs that are easy to read and analyze if you are a benchmarking channel. These mistakes make me question your methods and validity of your tests.

@@BENCHMARKINGEMPIRE not really, the cpu fps numbers mean nothing since you are testing at 1440p and 4k. They are bottlenecking the gpu so the cpu numbers are all the same.

Good grief, there's 500 videos showing 1080 benchmarks. I don't understand the issue in showing 2k and 4k benchmark, and or the synthetics. If you're playing mostly 2 and 4k videos with 4090, 4080, 4070 TI Supers, 7900xtx, or 7900xt respectively it's asinine to upgrade from most any of these CPUs to 9800x3d. This is a very informative video that answers many questions.

Not much point benchmarking CPUs if the GPU bottlenecks the results. Maybe the 5090 will allow for meaningful 1440p testing, though we'll most likely just see the same results at lower FPS.

Frequency doesn't really matter... an A-die RAM at 6400 MT will be faster than an M-die RAM at 7200 MT.
