İf you have 7800X3D or 7950X3D and you have 4070 4080 4090 card for 2K or 4K gaming There is no reason to upgrade your CPU to 9850X3D. 7800X3D and 7950X3D is enough for 5090 and another next generation on 4K gaming

It showd the power of the cpu's, but noone plays them games on a 4090 @ 1080p so how much faster these cpu's are at 1080p is quite pointless, start going 1440p or 4k i expect the margins to be minimal in most cases. All gpu limited

because lower resolution lowers the load on the gpu and therefore more load on the cpu.
