The right thing to do when eating BALOT , just crack the shell a small portion never take out all the shell because you will see the inside. Small crack is enough then put it on your mouth and sip the content from the shell without seeing the inside so you don’t get disgusted when you see the small duck inside . It’s good to eat it without seeing it .

Too bad to see that most of the Fried Foods they served are over Cooked even the Chicken Inasal looks like they cook it on a Mekos Mekos way! Sunog Sunog kasi, I think the sisig is the winner of all the food and the Halo Halo. Their Lechon doesn’t looks attractive at all coz its not done the proper way the lechon supposed to be.

Sadly PHL food is generally boring and unhealthy. Mostly just deep fried high fat stuff. That is why you will see most of them are pudgy people esp their women. As for balut, I do not understand the need for the stick really. You are supposed to chomp it down and not poke it.
