So sorry for what you 'have been through! However, I have no doubt that the "new" cabin will be even better than the original. Your budget may be more limited than you would like, but your talent and resourcefulness are boundless!

I’m so excited to see how you retransform this cabin! It absolutely sucks having this happen, all the emotion of trying to salvage what you can, fighting with insurance and rebuilding. But thankfully it wasn’t worse and this can be rebuilt and potentially even better than before!!

Fellow designer here❤ and big fan 🖤when in an A-Frame and pushing your bed against one of the slanted walls definitely consider pulling the bed forward and using the hallow gap behind the bed for something like storage for linens, luggage, seasonal decor or even a place for dog beds. My dogs have always loved spaces like even our giant NewfiePoos.
