I'm a new player, I played retail for about a month, and now I'm playing cata, so here's my two cents: Firstly, leveling is so much harder in classic, each level feels significant, enemies dont scale with you, so you actually feel like you're getting stronger compared to retail where you basically don't improve at all, because of it. Secondly, each dropped item has its value, even NPCs have valuable items to you, unlike retail where 99% of drop is shit, and the rest is crafting items or rare items. Thirdly, it's way slower overall. In classic I don't feel overwhelmed with everything, I can do everything at my own pace, I can learn a skill, but dont have to. Retail basically forces me to "GO, GO GO, THERE'S NO TIME! HERE, A NEW SKILL, QUICK, USE IT!!!11!". TL;DR Classic is just an OG mmorpg, retail is a dumbed down version for kids aged 6 to 99 who have no time for anything and watch tik toks all the time. Also for gold sellers.

The Mei thing is literally just Ray of Frost and it's still aids roots like frost's "lasts for 5 seconds but actually it procs 15 times in a row and roots you for the rest of your mortal existence" are insanely stupid too snare and root should both have way more effective DR so you can't spam them at the same time all mobility should be reduced

i am an retail player i try clasic and i did not like the speed of the combat is to slow rotation and pulling wise. this is a my problem i cannot play clasic because of that i try mutiple times.

I’m a real classic Andy, so I’m qualified to make a comment. tmog is not as bad as most of the classic players say it is. They are just scared of change lmao. Tmog wouldn’t change the game in any negative way. And for the people who say “I wanna know if I see a t3 player” well that translates to “unobtainable” items. For classic I would prefer customizations like armor dyes, added spikes or trimming/engravings instead of all out transmog to anything you want

Back in the day we didn't need it because geared people were harder to come by so it was a badge of honour to have endgame gear to look cool, Also BiS wasn't such a big thing so people would have mixed matching outfits with different pieces.

Transmog is one of the best parts of WoW. They should add it to Classic, but add an interface option to disable it so people can still have the authentic Classic look and feel in their client.
