Mine worked like this with ranch. I thought it was because it used ranch that it didn’t flow over the tiers evenly and it was loud. Now I know that’s just how liquids flow from the nostalgia fountain… not evenly like the box. Thanks!

Those T12 bulbs you have that are flickering are of the 34W energy-saving type. Those don’t take too kindly to low temperatures compared to 40W bulbs, and will flicker and striate as demonstrated. I would suggest picking up some proper 40W bulbs and seeing if those do the trick. They should work on the same ballast.
