I live in NW Arkansas and can attest that most people have zero concept of how to behave in public and the venue owners are too spineless to do anything about it. I vowed off comedy shows after going to several where large parts of the crowd refused to shut up during the performance and even heckled the performers for no reason. One comedian got so upset that he started pointing to audience members and telling them to go f--k themselves. It was embarrassing. I LOVE Death Grips, but many of their fans are degenerate a-holes, so I didn't bother to go.

I can’t tell if you’re serious or not but if you are. I don’t give a shit, ima type whatever- “Playing to a backing track?” Deatj grips has been playing live for damn near 15 years and they have to play the actual song in the back to get the entire feel. The guitar guy wasnt the original member. He’s playing as a possible fill-in (I’m actually not sure) The original person who the guitar player is take their place for now is the keyboard player/sampler “Kiss these days” don’t actually know if your kidding but there all like 45. K bye. Stay noided

@@etalex7074 yeah but normally it's just some backing vocals or some extra strings or something, cos touring backing vocalists and orchestras is prohibitively expensive. It is not normal to have the entire song, drums vocals and all on backing tracks and just play over the top of it. This is awful.

I saw them in dallas this year, I was in the front on the far left side and honestly I was under the assumption nothing happened until after the concert. I saw a guy stage dive but that was about as bad as I thought it got. A trashcan was thrown and there was also something I saw about a man hitting women in the pit. I feel so horrible. We are literally all there for the same reason, to enjoy a group we like live and make good memories. How does doing shit like that get you off? Throwing shit at the group like they're monkeys at the zoo, pissing in a trashcan, hitting WOMEN. I dont blame groups and artists for being scared of preforming live. These are literally human beings that go out of their way to provide quality experiences for their fans. You absolutely did not have to spend the money to come there and ruin everyone elses fucking night by acting like a wild animal. If you are reading this and you have contributed to any of this foolishness for ANY artist or group I wish nothing but the worst for you and you are a fucking disgrace. It would honestly be a miracle if they toured again, let alone give their ungrateful and childish fucking fans a single new song ever again. Fuck all of you.

They use a backing track since they can't play every instrument at once. So they are playing it's just that they're playing over a recording of the song. A lot of people like to whine about it, but it's really standard for live shows. And funnily enough no one cares until they actually find out, cause they can never tell it's there anyways.

Their music is heavily studio engineered and they've always played with a backing track. Through Government Plates they were mostly just performing on top of the studio tracks.
