Second comment here, but no, Ride did not walk off stage after being pelted by a single glowstick. They were having stuff thrown at them throughout their entire show. Ride walked off and back on at least two other times before calling it quits. They were 25 songs into a 29 song set. As far as I'm concerned, they were being extremely lenient.

Honest question here but why is the music still banging through the pa after they walk off? Are they using backing tracks ?

They always do. It's cringe. McRide raps over a track of himself at live shows, but the die-hard fans don't seem to care about it. Maybe that's why they were throwing shit lol.

Death Grips did not deserve this treatment whatsoever. I hope this experience hasn't discouraged them from performing live in the future. Fans need to learn to be respectful towards artists on stage, and that applies to everyone, as concert etiquette has gone down the shitter in recent years. This is just one of many examples of people throwing shit onstage that I've seen within the past year or two.

Embarrassing part for Death Grips is showing how much of the sound is backing tracks as they just walk off. Very embarrassing.
@ellie19037 ай бұрын
yeah why is that 🥲😭 I know every artist uses it but I’m wondering why it was like just the song straight up….I don’t know anything about music but isn’t the song that’s playing in bg supposed to be just like slight beats and stops? Maybe even difficult lines to sing live idk..
@ktk44man7 ай бұрын
@@ellie1903have people never listened to death grips before? Its mostly weird synth sounds anyway, you literally need a computer to be playing the majority of death grips songs. This sounds like it was probably black paint they were playing, and it just doesn't sound like the recorded song. The backing track is way more barebones. I feel like people who are knocking the backing track as if they were just sitting there lip syncing it are mad ignorant. Know the song they're playing before you even say that all they're doing is playing the backing track
