Second comment here, but no, Ride did not walk off stage after being pelted by a single glowstick. They were having stuff thrown at them throughout their entire show. Ride walked off and back on at least two other times before calling it quits. They were 25 songs into a 29 song set. As far as I'm concerned, they were being extremely lenient.

Wasn't this also when they had to drive from austin and then go back the next day? As well as near the end of their long tour where they were basically playing day after day. Can imagine that after all that you get fed up with shit like this

@@Fung43 yeah but it’s a matter of virtue it was just kinda disrespectful is all Death grips are a great band who work and have worked very hard to sound good , produce very good music and be amazing performers/ throw amazing performances so the glow sticks or things thrown at them is generally just a sign of disrespect and usually that’s something you do when a person can’t play their music or doesn’t know how and you want them to get off stage! In my opinion, Death grips have worked too hard to have that... it must’ve been a sign of something. And If I know death grips❤️‍🔥, They will take it for what it is and make something great out of it.

Chill, it’s not that dramatic. They were just pissed at that exact moment in the video someone threw somethin’ deliberately at them! I mean, seriously? I understand. They didn’t even get to really start yet barely the first song or warm up and people are already throwing things. let alone at them! Kind of a bitch move of the fan. Just shows plain disrespect, honestly. So I understand why they walked out. On the other hand, I really don’t think death grips will stop making music entirely because of this. It’s a fairly small incident, really. I mean, people get thrown things at them all time. In general, but I mean at shows. Bottles, bottle caps, etc. That being said, I think mc ride will be fine, IS FINE and lastly, I really don’t think Death Grips will take it Really THAT seriously Haha where they will stop making music entirely. He delivers 100% of the time but I could tell at these shows he was having to Power through it. And none of us know him, but the one thing we do know about him is that he's very private and very shy and we owe him a respectful reception because of that. I get what you're trying to say but tbh no. Imma use an extreme example here but if you give everyone a gun, and the first thing they do is use it to shoot someone, that ruins it for everyone. That's totally on the a-hole who threw it and to blame it on the venue who just wanted to give them something fun like glowsticks totally takes away any accountability from the dude who threw it.
