@@ayooot5850they need defense and athleticism, both of which Butler provides. They have Allen, O’Neale, Tyus, Damien Lee, etc… for shooting. And KD and Book both rank in the top ten in mid range FG efficiency this season (with KD shooting at 53%). Defense takes their team to another level

Zach LaVine is a 2x All-Star that at his best is a borderline All-NBA player, BI is a one-time all-star 5 years ago. Brandon Ingram averaged 22.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 57.4% TS in 339 games between the 2018-19 and 2023-24 seasons. LaVine averaged 25.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 58.9% TS in 325 games between the 2018-19 and 2022-23 seasons.

@ They’re rebuilding. As a Hawks fan, I watched Trae go through worse in his sophomore year, averaging 30 and 10 a game, and for what? The team was trash. The Spurs are on the right track. They will be a perennial playoff team soon, especially with whoever they get in the upcoming draft.
