My grandmother hitchhiked from Minnesota to LA at the tender age of 18 in the 1930’s. She told a few stories about fun times on these very boats! Thank you for the background - I never would have thought I could have access to this really cool information (in my slippers). :)))

I don't know why but it bothers me that Frank doesn't have a relationship with his brother Kurt because I've listened to them both and IMO they can repair this and let go of the past and just start brand new NOW! It's very sad IMO......

Photo at Jilly's Saloon in 1977 includes (L-R) Russell Bufalino, Andrew "Andy" Russo, Frank Sinatra, Thomas "Tom" DiBella and I believe Tony Bennett. Still not sure who is on the far right (often cropped out of this photo in other online versions).

Tony and Ellen are great researchers, authors, and historians. Joe Urschel is not an historian. He has repeated the myths and falsehoods about Kathryn and George Kelly. These myths were created by Hoover for the conviction of the Kellys in court. Urschel has no idea what he is talking about. The museum could have done much better to get a third historian for this event.
