Sons And Kings -thank you! Started playing guitar in 1998-ish, writing songs in 2008 when I was 18. This one is from 2009 (sixth or seventh song I wrote.) I got crude recording equipment in ‘09, and then went to college for recording in 2012. I lost my equipment and quit making music for several years. Life changes, but I’m finally stable again, and Last year I got drums and the other equipment I needed to continue. Most of the other songs on my page are old recordings, but “Sweat Shop” was the first re-recording of an old song last year (written 2009), and “Elaine” was written and recorded this summer. Currently recording a fuller version of this one, and expecting it to be released to iTune/Spotify/Amazon/Deezer... in a few weeks. Thanks, Alex B! This is the fastest I’ve put a song together from nothing to published. I used less vocal reverb than I’m used to, but I wanted a grittier sound for this one. Can you make out all or almost all of the lyrics? It’s hard for me to tell if other people will be able to understand what I’m singing.

RiverSide Tribute Oooooo- I’m excited already! Black Sabbath was one of my favorite bands to play when I was a lot younger. I remember when I was about 16, a group of college musicians handed me a guitar to see what I could do, and I knocked them dead playing and singing “Fairies Wear Boots”😎

This was supposed to be the title track for a political satire concept album. I’ve never finished it, but there’s way more potential material than when the project began in 2010😂

I remember how I started this one. It was from the beginning of “Five to One” where Jim Morrison says- “Yeah, come on. LOVE my girrrl...” There was just so much cool in the line, and I thought it would be a good title to write a song around.

RiverSide Tribute thank you! This was the first song I wrote with multiple tracks back in 2009, and this version was finally done the way I wanted last year when I got better equipment. My other originals are all old recordings from around 2010, but I’m finally in my new home with my studio set up, and I’m going to be recording more originals soon!

RiverSide Tribute almost want to redo this one. The compressor on my phone mic spikes up when I hit the tambourine, but the scene was what I wanted. Posting a cover of “Mother Nature’s Son” when I finish it tonight or tomorrow, and then I’m planning on a Pink Floyd song or two after that. Need some variety😬
