Hofner HCT 500/1 vs Hofner Ignition (unboxing and comparison)

I bought a hi-series hofner bass guitar(ignition?) and I put on labella flat-wound string for better sound, and really it does! overall it's a great great bass guitar and I love playing it, which can always make me feel creative and somehow like... pushing me to play more notes to fill or to make up its shorter sustain

I’ve had my Contemporary model since 2011 and it’s the only bass i’ve ever needed and will use till the day i die. It’s perfect in every way!

Agreed. I still want a Fender P bass, but I don’t need it. I’d still always play the Hofner.

Wow, I have a probably older HTC and it looks very different, the Chinese control panel has nothing to do with it, the slat protector says contemporary, it doesn't have a serial number either. They were one of the first HTCs to hit the market, that sounds great. It seems that the manufacturing has improved a lot.
