I remember around 90 or 91 when Sony Walkmans started going digital. I remember wanting and getting a Sony Walkman yellow with the small digital screen and the preset buttons. Oh man, you should’ve kept it in the box and they sell quicker on eBay that way and you can get like 4 x more over a used one and they usually sells quicker bc not many are left unopened and less competition. I see you were talking about reselling, well, you need to know the value of unopened vintage items and how valuable they are after decades unopened. When you were cutting the package open, for me it was like having a vintage toy and throwing away the box. But hey, it’s yours to do whatever you want. Most radio don’t come with batteries installed even if batteries were included for damage control,

So I just found a recycled similar to this. It has a stamp model #d14m. I can not find that exact number on you tube. I have no idea what to do with it and I came upon your video. My comment is on the actual video. You are a pleasure to watch. Warts and all as we used to say. That is a compliment by the way. I liked and subscribed. I am an oldie at 82.

just found one of these recent, made 1984..still works just greased a few gears and the track for the spools that pushes the tape against the head...did it al lthru the tape opening on the top, and cleaned al lthe spools and stuff with iso alch

I currently have a 2010 Mac mini Server - the "brother" to this iMac - set up as a file server and Minecraft server. Seems to work quite well for a 14 year old computer. Installing an SSD helps a lot with performance.
