never understood this... in my country a spoken contract is legally binding. the problem is of course that is verbal and not in writing so proving it is nearly impossible. but on a tv show its filmed, so if they both agree to make it legal they have to split after the show because of the contract...

The young lady is sweet but naive. Should have trusted her instincts and changed her ball. Would have been interesting to see what the older woman would have done then.

Not only did he protect himself from his opponent stealing, even if the opponent stole he would then see that brown shirt was actually planning to split, and therefore could get the opponent to choose to split after taking it all.

They could heve kept the show going if they did away with the conferring before their selection is revealed.

This is Game Theory 101. Guy in brown isn’t a genius. He just understood the very basic concept of a “dominated strategy”.
