So much of it depends on your current situation. If you're a working person making anywhere over about 100-120k pa in the UK and you have family, you're going to have a really hard time getting a job in Dubai that pays 600k AED. There's a cost to uprooting your family and putting up with the uncertainty. Plus your salary might be tax-free, but almost everything (especially fresh produce and groceries) is more expensive than it is in the UK!

on this note ill add this ,yes you can get wealthy by being in riches ,true ,but i doubt a person who has light in his soul will care about that paper money made out of trees ,thats for those who need that paper,but what those simpleminded people tought in inteligence wont tell you ,money is for the poor ,and they have a black credit card ,but are not allowed to withdrawl their own wish of currency ,only how much they are allowed or can withdrawl ,but again ,its also a lie ,everything in the wealthy world runs on credit cards ,no wonder they are so expensive ,and ,no wonder they have their slogan ,some people are so poor all they have is money ,im sure a poor person didnt thought of that and as well its a mockery to people who have money or even use it on mterial possesion ,but hey their life their choice ,also bear in mind double edge sword in words portraied ,you dont have you should ,or you have ,why should you have ,bs

The problem with focusing on skill-based income careers is that you can always be replaced. Sudden layoffs in different sectors cause so much disruption for skilled workers. I do like your authentic content, Oli, cause you acknowledge in other videos how luck and privilege on top of hard work play huge roles in making your hard work lead to success.

@theomnithinker23 күн бұрын
Hey Oli! Thanks for being open and honest about the role of privilege in helping you succeed. Living in a strong welfare state area like the UK, knowing English, and having some family support are all things a lot of wealthy people ignore when they talk about how they got wealthy. I just don't understand how some wealthy people think hard work is the only factor that explains their success, and they ignore the role of privilege. Hard work alone is not enough for most people to succeed.

Dubai is a collection of foreign millionaire entrepreneurs and poorer local citizens. It seems like a good place for wealthy business people.
@theomnithinker24 күн бұрын
So Dubai for foreigners is a collection of millionaire foreigners. Other millionaires who moved to Dubai talk about how great the tax breaks are, so it really does help the super wealthy stay wealthy. The native population is not so well off.

Just bumped into this video and I must say it is a game changer for me. I had to stop in the middle and take it all in and this is when you mentioned time as a valuable asset for me and those around me or making headway in business/investments (which in and of itself is another subject I have yet to tackle) instead of wasting this precious asset on mulling over 'necessarily unnecessary' stuff like cleaning the house, washing the car or trying to save a dollar or a pound here and there when you could be doing something much more valuable. Thank you...

Getting a car for myself in Dubai is something I’m unsure about. In Australia I have an Audi but to rent an equivalent car in Dubai seems like it would be extremely expensive (if renting on a monthly basis). Can anyone advise on what they do about cars?

Yo, I never thanked you. I once saw in your video that you made wallpapers and when I checked your store I saw you making digital wallpapers which motivated me to also make some since I already was playing with GPT and DALL·E, I then started creating custom GPTs that create me a specific art style/wallpaper style which I first just did out of fun but when I posted it on my IG story people started getting interested in them which then led me to creating a ko-fi where I had a commission for people who wanted me to make them specific wallpapers and the style that I created within the custom GPT what I was basically doing is having them send me a picture of their pet and their favorite color and my custom GPT will do the rest within a few seconds & put their fav animal or pet in the style that I designed for example: wearing a hoodie specifically my hoodie that I created for my clothing line and yeah that was going pretty well for a while. I made some decent coins with it but eventually lost interest and focused on scaling other digital products of mine. Anyways thanks a lot! Your one of the few KZbinrs who actually show people how to make money based on how you make money & I really appreciate that 🦾
