I have a TSL 100 and it sounds awesome. I can even use it without a booster, it's still better with a booster but if all you have is the amp it will do the job. The problem I have is that it runs at 10,000 degrees. When I bought mine, it was red plating. I replaced the mainboard, new tubes and re-biased it. But it still runs SCARY hot. I had a JCM 800 and a 900 Mark III and after hours and hours of use they got very warm to mildly hot. The TSL within minutes of use is BURNING hot. And it scared me that its going to do the same thing over and burn out the mainboard. I have biased it cooler but has not changed this. Also, the peddle is junk. But other than that, it sounds awesome, its load and has some good options built in.

its a brilliant amp i gigged one for six years solid it has a great clean, lots of gain on the crunch channel, brilliant lead tone, the only downsides are the hard wired footswitch cable ( changed mine to a din plug and put bigger coloured leds in ) and the dreaded bias drift problem that kills them, i put the new upgraded board in mine its like a new amp now, easy to bias yourself and the fuses are panel mounted unlike the jvm, but since i discovered the boss katana i dont use it anymore

I've been looking for a original Artist, but I love the look and sound of this guitar. I still want original if tone is there. And as for this guitar I'd want to play a few to find the tone that suits my ear. They all aren't going to sound the same. Split coils I've never been a fan for,but with the correct pickups could be great if using for various songs and styles. I usually check out a guitar without an amp 1st. Then if I'm interested I'll take one of my own amps in to play it though. But I like the look of the white guitar, don't need the vine inlay but I do like the inlay around the body. I do own a double cut Gibson LP. A older guitar it sounds nice. I own a number of Ibanez guitars right around the JEM came out. I've got use to the fast neck, 24 jumbo frets with easy access to them. It feels strange when switching to Fenders, Gibsons or other guitars with thicker necks. But after playing them, I get reacquainted to the neck size. More for blues or older rock material not a shred guitar, but I'm not a shredder. Use to be, but grew out of it about the time everyone started going towards it. I'm more of a blues and a melodic guitarist now. I haven't bought a new Gibson and only a few from Nashville. It seems that I can get tones from both Start and Gibson from the Ibanez that I own. Probably my best sounding guitar is one I built from the Az air dried wood and custom wound pickups with a 12db booster in and use 1 3way toggle switch and 2 2way toggle switch for changing pickups. It gets all the tones I need. I like basswood bodies if it has resonance usually maple necks, but again that depends on the guitar. 1st time seeing these guys and they are hilarious while still demoing the guitar. Keep up the humor with the demos!🤟
