The atmosphere for this one is enthralling. The soundscape makes it easy to imagine the setting. Well done.

This is something unbelievable! Or more like, believable to be precise! The way you’re improving - the audio brings complete immersion for me. Thank you for your work! And the story, I’m like a time traveler who knows what is happening with these future generations and how these recorded stories are needed. Wonderful job. An interest in what you can perform, the stories you might tell is undying

I love history themed videos, although from this channel I'm sure I'll love whatever it's uploaded 🤣 Shadows definitely has a knack with this kind of historical/relaxing content + a warm voice, what more can you ask for when having such a combination 🥹 Thank you so so much!

I'll have you know that miscellaneous is a fantastic word, one I use often! It very much describes all those left over pieces which just happen to be ... well ... miscellaneous... :D It goes with other words such as archaeology; the joy of placing as many vowels next to each other without veering into the realms of the ridiculous. Plus, it's a way of retaliation for your use of the feminine or masculine. And telling the time back to front. Although I believe our German cousins do something similar? What I'm trying to say (or possibly hide, poorly) is that I'm not at all jealous, even with impossibly vowelled words, you can speak fluent English, & I, not a full, useful sentence in French, or any other language. Please, please understand that I'm joking, I type with a wide grin on my face. Although miscellaneous is a good word which I could actually spell, unlike archaeology which I had to look up.. :p
@WhisperingShadowsASMR4 күн бұрын
I laughed so hard while ready this! Thank you, it was much needed :) I had to listen to miscellaneous being pronounced by the google translate robot lady to make sure I wasn't butchering it... I guess... French is a gendered language, English has miscellaneous in its vocabulary... does this mean... we're even? And, are we really telling time back to front?
@deeayenn3 күн бұрын
I'm pleased it made you laugh. To be perfectly honest I didn't in the least notice you have any trouble with it at all. But I'm on the lookout now *proceeds with evil laugh!.. Yes, I will grudgingly admit that linguistically we're definitely even. But in skill you are so far ahead... I cannot express my regret at not being able to communicate to you in your own language without resorting to google translate or similar. As for the time I may have made a miscalculation. But my memory is hazy, I won't lie, and on inspection it could, just possibly, be the English way which is more complicated to those not used to it. Would you, for example, say 11:35 or 25 to 12? I know that can throw some people off. Using the 24 hour system certainly isn't a problem.

Wonderful piece & a pleasant return to more grounded surroundings. I can just imagine the setting, I've indulged far too many period pieces to not do so. The years following the war are of particular interest, as you highlight here, due to the obvious recovery but also the social & technological changes which occurred. Although I had to smile when you mentioned the resistance & bicycles - 'Allo 'Allo doesn't fade easily, had to quickly revisit the end credits theme. And on the subject of music, more specifically what you chose here, you once more manage to transport me back somewhere I've never actually been. And I appreciate that :)

Glad you enjoyed this one too :) It's always fun to work with historical stories, but also a little bit stressful. Don't want to say anything wrong for example... So, I do a little bit of research beforehand usually. Just to make sure! As for the music, Archive.org is a treasure-trove of old records, from classic music, to radio stations... it's amazing what people recorded and share there. I guess it takes me more time to find the right music there, than to write the script of the story :p

Very wise. Being willing to spend time checking the facts shows your dedication to your work. It also keeps things true to life, offering a balance between your different styles. We never know what you'll surprise us with each week & that's part of the fun! My thanks for the music link. I've been lost there before. Finding anything familiar will have me guessing which of your stories I heard it in. Long (& now cold!) winter evenings & all that.. :)

Absolutely ice cold - hearing a lady (of good standing of course) say 'he thinks he's amusing, but absolutely he is not'. I believe the phrase is Emotional Damage.... The thought on the continued accent is a nice touch, along with the reference to Albion. Reminded me of Fable immediately. The setting is so well ingrained into me I can easily picture it. While living this way must (have) become tiresome, it's definitely a wonderful experience on occasion. The descriptions of the other people present reminds me of something, but my little grey cells fail me. Perhaps I should ask the dandified little gentleman with the impressive moustache?.. As for the dancing, I would unfortunately have to decline. Lost my tap-shoes... :p
@WhisperingShadowsASMR7 күн бұрын
Yes... I did go a bit hard on the poor general... sorry for that! Fable is great :) and Albion is a term still quite used in France to speak of Great-Britain. Always ask the little gentleman with the impressive moustache, always! Not the tap-shoes! I guess it'll be for another time then :D

This is probably one of my favorites of yours. I always love the idea of immortals interacting throughout time, or nemesis being civil to each other. You can feel the familiarity and the mutual understanding of what each other is in this story, thanks to your emotional delivery and detailed writing.
@WhisperingShadowsASMR11 күн бұрын
I'm glad you enjoyed this one :) I also really like the idea of immortals' relationship going through time, how it is so different from humans' relationships because of the difference in perceiving time and experiencing it as well.

I did not expect to hear continuation of that particular story, nice choice for the new year :) Good to know what was our fate after the witch saved us. Can we also get an update on our fate after: kzbin.info/www/bejne/moipXnSbo5tkhas - really curious if we bonded with the vampire that saved us! Can't wait for all the new stories in 2025, you make coming to work on Thursday much more fun :D
