When ever i have a interview and they say "we dont say the pay range because we dont want to hire someone who is only interested in the money" I ask them if they are communist or captialist. My logic is that if they reasonably believe in captalism they would understand that money being a primary motivator is a good thing. Sadly it tends to just detail the interview

Reminds me of what happened to my uncle. He retired from a place that he had been working for 40 plus years. When he left he found out that the new hire in training was making $1.50 more an hour, then he was an hour and that was back in the 90s. So the guy was making basically half of minimum wage more than my uncle had with 40 years experience at the same place, and he was still a trainee [the new guy obviously].

That actually happened to me at my old Job 😤. I was getting 30hrs then my Boss cut me to 4hrs per Week 🙄. I worked at Giant Tiger for 1 Year as a Grocery Person/Cashier. I worked there with my Mom and Older Sister. My Mom even taught me how to use the Cash Register. Awesome Skit 😄
