If you don't want to be revealed and lose your opening, don't go into stealth before the fight. You should come closer on a mount, press d right before you want to attack and you will always land your opening because during the first second of you getting into stealth u can't be revealed. And could you explain me how to land your short q because I often miss with this ability

I'm not that great at HoTS but it seemed to me that in the beginning of the game, you abandoned group objectives, while being basically the chunkiest front line. This lead to repeated deaths, even though you soaked XP, it seemed to me like a mistake. Was the objective not as important in your judgement? Unironically asking

Glass Cannon is a noob trap, easiest way to die, Illusionist is always the best talent, more mobility and escape. Great for any Li-Ming build, though orb build kinda sucks, doesn't synergize well with her trait and it's less consistent at getting damage compared to calamity. Calamity also has good finish whereas orb is only good at poke. My preferred build is Aether Walker -> Dominance -> Calamity -> WoF(Distintegrate vs Anubarak) -> Illusionist -> Mirrorball(Diamond Skin is great too) -> Archon Aether Walker gives me more mobility and free teleports, coupled with Illusionist it's almost mount speed just spamming teleport every 2 seconds Dominance is pure survivability, it has saved my life multiple times Calamity is obvious, third ability gains damage vastly increasing the burst damage potential and it chains really well with the trait WoF is more burst damage, and it doesn't self root. The whole point of the build is good burst damage with some mobility and survivability. Disintegrate is better vs Anubarak because it's a hard counter to his cocoon, just stay out of his coccon range and burn down cocoons on teammates. Illusionist adds mobility and makes it easier to land more Calamity hits Mirrorball is great for damage, Magic Missile always hits harder than Orb if you can land all three, it gets so much better if you have five. Diamond Skin is a better pick if you're having trouble staying alive. Archon is basically a second ult, and it has incredible wave clear and siege. I don't like the 20 WoF talent because the knockback often sends them outside my attack range or screws up a teammates skill shots. Most people prefer Tal'Rashas and it's fairly obvious why, but I personally prefer to have a second ult.

I usually play artanis vs solo lane leoric since he can cancel the sucking hand by just using Q away. Yet, leoric can still win the game by landing a few tombs.

Couple of minutes into the video just gotta say a few things. 1. Pick crippling poision almost always it guarantees you land Q after your opener. 2. Valeera is not countered by brightwing, silence and burst her down before she can do anything 3. W consumes a lot of energy and the damage is insignificant,use for wave clear 99% of the time. 4. There's a bunch of things that can reveal you and ruin your opener but i wouldn't consider them as counters to Valeera, the only actual true counter to Valeera is Thrall's Earthquake since it renders you completely useless for the duration, you're slowed and revealed, the only way around it is to wait it out which leaves your team in a 4v5 situation. I won't go into too much detail as i could write about Valeera for days, Valeera is suitable for any situation as i've found great success with her even in D1/Master , be patient, pick your target, use the correct opener for the given scenario and make sure you land those Q's

I don’t think Life Unbound was an awful pick, there were lots of opportunities to heal rooted heroes vs a KT and Mal. Probably should have cast it more tho 😅

I think it's worth mentioning that landing a stun with Auriel's Detainment Strike gives a ton of energy! ESPECIALLY when you pick up the 13 where it pierces! In the middle of a team fight, a detainment strike can turn the tide of battle! 🤘 Since Auriel's damage gives energy In addition, any time you're waiting on anything weaving in some auto-attacks, especially on heroes really helps top off that energy!

Yeah Blaze’s peel is also his dis/engage so saving someone that deep basically means sacrificing yourself. There’s a reason he’s drafted as offlane in storm league and not really as a tank.

It’s builds like these that make me wish hots had a damage summary so you could see where your damage was coming from. Not a moba thing I guess

I believe you are fundamentally wrong about everything you attempted to justify with your abysmal Deckard build. Ruby is only useful if your teammates are in the fight... No. I will not have it. But that's also why this game is fun, we can have different builds (mine is superior). Love the videos, thank you!

Do you see? Do you see whats wrong with deckard? Do you see? That was a red dragon moment, everyone was taped to a chair.

I find the shield at 4 much better, because every potion does +140 base, which is more than half of one of the rubies, and you don't have to wait for the ruby cooldown, or try to hit several members for it. The regen one is almost as good, plus gives a bit of mana, great if you have anyone that's also a mana-hog on the team. At 10, lorenado is my preferred, with it's 30 second cool down, you can use it with your w/e to delay objectives, you can use it to grab people who are running, and you can use it to peel for yourself if you're running. All the while, you don't have to stop and stand still like you do with stay a while. You had some great plays with stay a while, but if the fights were more even, too often in random teams, your team may wake up more than one person at a time, or the opposite team could have someone avoid your sleep all together, and you're stuck standing still. The 20 pick is pretty impressive, but you need to take ruby for that to work, meanwhile the bottomless potions with shields would have kept you alive just as long at the end, especially if you have the stun on the auto attack. Or you could just be spamming out lorenados if you get that 20.

One of my favorite healer with... well yeah sooo much utility and the best part is even if you get focused you can still heal! i reaaaly like the extra regen and mana on 4 because it can help Deckard be longer in the fights too getting some mana back especially if all other ally also has mana so even they can be longer in the fight! (its also pretty good if you are facing lots of ranged enemy because then hitting them with ruby is not as effective while the extra regen will always be effective inside and outside of fights!) I fully agree with ultimate the lorenado is fun and it can be even a great pick in couple of maps and match ups but overall the other one is sooo much more usefull and has so much more... well utility i quess. As for 16 if you have a lot of rotating hero or Abathur or just need that extra stun picking up that talent can be more usefull than the safety one it helped me get a lot of escape on me on my allies and some kills too especially against channel abilites
