HotS: Tryhard Medivh

Welcome to my channel, I post a lot of Heroes of the Storm gameplay, but I play many games. Please feel free to request any heroes or builds to me and I will do my best to play it.

Good jukes. Medivh is fun to play "solo", but when you team know how to portal it gets to another level. What is your favorite lvl 20? Invisibility is fun but I fell like the ult upgrades are the most useful.

One of my favorite combos is Stitches and Medivh kidnapping heroes and taking then 3 screen lengths away hahaha. For the lvl 20 talents I like going the leyline upgrade if my ults have been super impactful in the fights or if their are bosses that need to be stolen. I never go for the polybomb upgrade because the whole reason I pick the ult is to silence/blind a hero for 2.5s. Why would I want to reduce that crowd control time? I used to really like the minions killer talent, but I never find myself picking it anymore. As seen Medivh wave clear is good enough to not NEED to pick that talent. The invis is so good because it makes anyone non targetable. Meaning auto attacks and most spells can't hit that hero. It's really good vs auto attacker like Zul'jin, Raynor, Illidan, etc. And finally the mana and spell power talent is picked if non of the above apply. The enemy team doesn't have an auto attacker so I don't need invisibility, the map doesn't have a boss to steal so I don't need leyline upgrade, and like I said, I don't ever really pick the minion 1 shot talent. Sorry for the book hope this helps haha

What made you gravitate towards medivh as a main?

It was never that I played Medivh once and got hooked. In fact, I didn't appreciate him when I first played him. But slowly I started to understand his kit better and fell in love. Everytime I play Medivh I can think of at least 1 thing I could have done better. Medivh has a kit that makes him immortal if played perfectly. I love that you can save losing games with a good (W) Force of Will, steal bosses with (R) Leyline, and constantly have your (Q) Arcane Rift up to deal damage if you land it. Every game Medivh challenges me to be a better player because I know that when I play Medivh my chances of winning matter so much on how I play because my hero doesn't limit me. If I play a Zul'jin, ETC, or Anduin I need my team to help me win. Whether it's deal more damage, tank more, or support me more I will need my allies. Medivh can do all those things, not just to himself, but to his whole team. I could talk about how much I love this hero for an hour lol

I would say for the most part if in a dire moment people will take portals. However I have seen a total of 7 players ever use a bunker in my lifetime lol

For a second I was like “oh :/ only 17 min 😓” but then, try hard medivh, makes sense it didn’t last too long hahaha (Also, haven’t seen the video, just assuming you win) What is the technique that you use to always get into the portals again? I remember you explain on a past video, I always struggle with clicking on it when the time comes

There was an enemy Rehgar once that kept putting totem down on our portals, we literally couldn't take the portal because it defaults to aa'ing the totem. Infuriating!
