I want to like his music, and I do like it, for about the first 20 seconds of each song. After that first 20 seconds it’s the same shit on repeat. His guitar playing is so simple and childlike, his lyrics are the same. Amateur hour is what it sounds like to me. Y’all are nuts.

Glad to see a comment from a semi human with three functional brain cells. You don't know blues, you don't know rock, you don't know music. Kindly crawl back under the rock where you were spawned. 😊

Thank you! Big gratitude this is posted❤, it sounds like a studio recording. But it's unethical to not list the sidemen, it is not courteous. Please list them. Thank you.

I think the argument could be made that all popular American music can trace its roots back to this, the purest of art forms, the blues.

Why does his style sound so different than other blues players?
@IllbeaMarinetillthedayidie21 күн бұрын
if you play guitar this guy here is a good teacher. for me he is pretty easy to understand and get his lesson across. he goes in depth on how to mimic mr. burnside's technique. it's not exact because he's not the hillcountry blues legend R L Burnside. nor does he try to be. he's a excellent guitarist and teacher especially when it comes to hill country blues. Point is check him out and if you play the guitar you can get a better understanding of why he sounds the way he does. where his sound comes from you'll have to do your own research. there is a documentary made by these gentleman from the Netherlands that is a bangar. gets the goosebumps on. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qnSQnminorqmhZosi=8NvxVmtFnswHw5FV
Hi, someone knows who's the guy who played with RL Burnside?
