its just part of his marriage event, you will need to go there to dig something up if i remember right but other than that you can't do anything in that spot unless the event is active

Question : How long does it take to get to the level you are at with all seeds lv 10, etc.

@@SCOTSviper do you mean like level as in stage, plant, or character level? If you mean plants, if farming was the ONLY thing you did in the day and had access to everything I did then it would probably take an hour or two (for trees and crops that take multiple in game weeks, it would take longer)

@JohnEBoyVideos sorry I should of been more specific. Yeah I was meaning like getting your crafting all up and seed levels up and everything else just looks immense. I'm like, right I'll do this.... where to begin... so started trying to level crafting and farming lv10 seeds process.

@@SCOTSviper well the answers more or less the same, if you're only focusing on one skill at a time and know what your doing it should take an hour or two. forging and crafting are much more of a slog though, the first 50-70 levels can go quickly by exploiting certain high level recipes (i.e making the scarfs like I did in episode 4) but honestly focusing on farming first should be your priority since you can get skill levels from the sprites that come from harvesting crops which can in turn help you level other skills faster without actually grinding the skill.

I think all the harvest moon games up to animal parade and sunshine islands/islands of happiness had the rival love characters. So FoMT, MFoMT, 64, DS/Cute, Back to Nature, Tree of Tranquility were the ones to have rival marriages. As for Rune Factory, I know 2 had that mechanic, not sure about 1.

I haven't played RF4 for ages ever since my Switch broke, so I kinda forgot how the crafting system worked. But I finally decided to buy the game for PC just recently, so I've been browsing for guides while waiting for the game to download 😊

Great video dude! Reminds me of old KZbin in the absolute best of ways. I’ve never even attempted magic in Rune Factory, and I’ve been playing this series since I was like 10 years old. Maybe this is my sign to give it a shot!

Just wanted to say your 8 year old videos are helping me in 2024. Picked up the games on the switch and played through RF3, now on RF4. Your videos are so helpful and almost a decade later still very entertaining. Sad to see you didn't continue to do videos. Gonna binge your videos and left a sub. My forging is now 57 and I have lots of level 10 materials. I still cannot follow your directions because it gives me a failure every time. I put the strong sword in front, the weak sword in second, and then fill the rest of the slots with level 10 materials, like fur.

Hi! I realize this video is older. I’m just starting my very first playthrough of any Rune Factory ever. I’m doing Rune Factory 4 special for switch and I’m assuming this video was researched/filmed using the 3DS version (which I’ve owner for over a decade and never played). So I’m just wondering if all this information is the same for the Switch version? It’s amazingly helpful and in-depth which I LOVE. I just want to know if I should apply this knowledge to when I play? If anyone knows for sure of how it has changed if at all, it’d be much appreciated! Thank you!

Nah not particularly, farming games are typically only stressful in the first month in game when you have to clear land and set up your farm. From there it's just maintaining it which is simple
