This is one of the classics of shoegaze, and one of my favorite albums of all time!! Every track is so fire and emotional. this album is actually from quadeca's perspective as a ghost after committing suicide, trapped in purgatory watching his family move on from him. some of the lyrics will make more sense if you relisten with this context, very heartbreaking. by the end of the album, he moves on and embraces the afterlife, fading into static. also during fractions of infinity, you asked why it suddenly sounded like kanye, that's because the sunday service choir is kanye's choir! glad you enjoyed the album :)

Magma is my absolute dream song to see live, they blow it up like crazy every time. Unfortunately it hasn't been played at either of the shows I've been to, but at my first show in 2022 they closed with Iron Lung and I actually almost passed out at the end from going too crazy lol
