Stay "sweet." *shudder* (consent???) She's just trying to get along with everyone. The building...paranoia....is excruciating. Are they all getting together to talk about me? (Yes, Rosemary, they are.) The doctor's betrayal was heartbreaking. Why are they drawing her milk? I appreciate the lack of GORE in this movie. The horror is in your mind, not on the screen. (Psychological thriller?) They didn't show the baby, but I think we all filled in with our own imagination. Thank you, and old one but one of my go-tos for horror.

Lethal Weapon is a great movie but I would say the best “bromance” movie that I’ve ever seen is the Shawshank Redemption.

When this came out, I couldn't get any of my friends to see it -- they all wrote it off as a "chick flick." But really, I think men get much more out of this movie because they know the depths of the father's struggle, not only with work, but with raising two boys alone.

Other people also mentioned that Dexter and Brian probably have different fathers, but I think the most prominent piece of evidence for this is that Dexter´s father knew about Dexter and left him things, but didn´t leave anything to Brian. Also fits more that Brian would want to kill off all people that were Dexter´s family and but not his. Plus, he and Dexter look quite different.

"So he´s a thief as well" yeah, we know he steals things from evidence all the time... also the fact that you said that right after he killed someone is really funny to me. I thought him getting the milk there was funny, actually... him getting it "on the way" ... and to me it seemed like the two were connected because he killed him for Astor and got the milk for her´s and Cody´s cereal. The punchline being the contrast between the two errands he runs for the kids.

Harry is basically the personification of Dexter's moral compass, in my opinion. Part of Dexter's internal conflict. That's how I'd describe Harry (except for flashbacks, obviously).

I believe Rosemary was chosen only because her friend 'Terry' chose to jump out the window after Roman told her that they wanted her to have Satan's baby. (Remember the overheard conversation when they were trying to sleep, the older woman saying "You shouldn't have told her I knew she wouldn't be open-minded".) The older woman found out from talking to Rosemary just how fertile women in Rosemary's family is. The got to know her husband 'Guy' during their dinner. When Rosemary was in the kitchen with their hostess helping with the dishes, Roman was promising Guy fame and fortune if they could use Rosemary in their 'conception' ritual and Guy agreed after they caused the other actor who was up for the same part to go blind. In other words, they chose Rosemary strictly because of convenience. If another couple had moved in instead of them, they would have attempted to do the same thing to them. According to the scriptures, God Almighty created hell, not Satan. And you're right about Satan being created an Angel, he is the very first 'fallen angel'. He didn't chose Rosemary to be the mother of his child, it was these satanists/witches who did, because of the reasons I explained above.

A mother's love is unconditional. Rosemary is an old-fashioned christian women, it is not in her nature to murder a baby. BTW if you watch part 2 of this which is titled Look What Happened to Rosemary's Baby you'll find out that Adrian, in the end, took after his mother, not his father satan.
