"Matilda" , the 70-mile wide asteroid, was probably an Easter Egg reference to another end of the world story, _On the Beach_ which is set in Australia, whose national anthem is Waltzing Matilda

I first watched this film a few years ago by accident (I was painting my living room and just never changed the channel) but was shocked that I'd never even heard of it. I have to admit I was about 50% sure that the asteroid would somehow miss or not be that devastating. Hollywood does that sort of thing a lot. As much as I love a traditional happy ending this one is still beautiful. Thanks for this, Michal. Happy Passover.

Great seeing much more movie reactions lately, this was definitely underrated IMO. Was a pretty fascinating thing seeing all the different ways people coped with knowing the world was definitely ending. Recommending reacting to my favourite Tom Cruise movie Vanilla Sky!

In watching this reaction I felt that each score fit well with it's selected scene. Overall I'm guessing that I'll like the overall soundtrack to this film, but, I'd have to watch the entire film.
