Nice one. 👍🏻 Will do this recipe next time. Have done these on the Kamado many times and it’s always a challenge to keep in one piece. Will use the technique re excess liquid. Could be a game changer. I spent a lot of time in turkey and that pepper paste is in all the supermarkets, cheap as chips and I used it a lot. Have seen it in cash and carry here but nowhere else. @@andykynaston1261 yes the Turkish cash and carry is where I get my red pepper puree and most of the other spices, it also goes well in chicken wings, let us know how you get on with it 👍

Is it possible to set a parameter to protect the dome temperature for being to high and too low. For example: setpoint 100-120 deg C and when the probe temp for the ambient exceeds this limits gives me a warning that my dome is too cold or too hot?

Nice unboxing, looks like a great tool. I'm not sure if it's just my phone or KZbin but normally vertical videos are able to be viewed full screen vertically on phones but this one couldn't. Not sure if it's an option or anything that you can set but it would make the video a lot more watchable on phones.

Nice review 👍 I don’t have a Meater, but I do have the similar Tempspike. The InkBird app in your review certainly looks like an improvement over the Tempspike app

I don't get on with the Meater. Bluetooth connection keeps dropping. It's good to have another quality option on the market.

Just about to give this a go, kamado is coming up temp. I have seen other recipes that use beef mince have tried this or a mixture of lamb beef?

Have only done it with lamb, would probably work ok with beef but you would need a high fat content at a guess maybe 30%
