If the paper clip sparked it's because it isn't in there tight enough but if you cut the wires instead of using a jumper wire or a paper clip you can connect a switch in between the two wires so when you wanna turn bike on hit switch on hit start button bike starts when you wanna shut lights and bike of turn switch off the little toggle switch you connect between the two wires acts the same as a key a key does same thing as a switch except it needs a key to turn switch on to connect those two wires that's the whole purpose of having a key ignition switch so people can't steal your bike right away that's why it's best to lock the forks and possibly put a chain lock through to get wheels and lock bike to something because if you don't lock forks or put chain through wheels so.eons can load bike in back of a pickup truck and take it down the road and remove front clips and connect two wires on plug after disconnecting it like in video and ride off on a stolen bike
