Quiting coffee improved my tinnitus. It is now significantly less noticeable.

Please be mindful that most chocolate products have caffeine in them too. I was setting back my progress quitting with chocolate chip cookies before bed

Nice channel. The Human Benchmark was a good choice. I appreciated it because it's a simple app that doesn't exploit people like the typical mom making her umpteenth New Year's resolution. However, I have an issue: the mobile app lacks a way to create an account to permanently store records and resume from where I left off - for example, starting from the 10th stage of the number game instead of going back to square one. Are there any superior app alternatives that don't target the average person with trivial challenges like "1 + 2 = ?" or "find the color," falsely implying progress and making them pay?

I did dual n back until i reach dual 15 back, my memory (long therm) got insanely better for some reason that I don’t know (because the training is only for working memory, so I don’t know why) but I really don’t feel smart, and now I remember numbers seeing them instead of remembering the name of the number

Thumbnail caption: “I quit caffeine for 60 days and why IM NEVER GOING BACK!” 8:15 “Going forward, there’s no doubt I’ll have a coffee here and there..” 🤣 This just shows you how virtually nobody in these “quitting caffeine” videos actually quits. They might abstain for a certain number of weeks and months, but inevitably crawl back to occasional use, which inevitably turns into regular use again. It’s crazy the grip caffeine has on even the people who are aware of how bad it is.

I’m 32 and taking running seriously for the first time in my life. I don’t remember what my 5k PB was in high school (it wasn’t anything spectacular whatsoever) but I ran a 24:34 in February which was likely my PB or close to it. Started running in meets starting in late April of this year. For training, I ran a 5k almost every day almost did almost no other kind of training (mostly because idk what I’m doing). By the time I did my third event on June 1st, I’d taken my PB down to 21:17. So I’m here to agree that you can make huge (though probably not optimal) improvements by just running your desired distance every day. I’ve had to adjust my goals for the year to where I’d now really like to see sub-20 and I think it’s entirely within my capabilities, which I wouldn’t have dreamed earlier this spring.

I guarantee the study saying caffeine within 4 hours asleep doesn't affect sleep was wrong and someone paid someone to publish that. I bet you everything I own. I am 100% sure. Not 99.9999%. 100%.

If you had not been weight training and took that up for 30 days, you would have significant results. You have convinced me that Dual N Back is not a good use of time, and for this I thank you.

I tried Dual N-back a number of years ago (around 2013), and I'm planning to start using it again which is how I came across your video. At my height of using it, I noticed a significant improvement in my ability to focus and my attention span. It made my interactions in conversations, work, and even watching movies more immersive, meaningful, and effortless. It actually improved my sense of happiness, because I felt more engaged in life, and almost everything felt easier. I really don't know why I stopped - I think like any routine that requires dedication, other distractions got in the way, and I'd miss one day, then more, then stopped all together. After watching your video, it got me excited to use it again, although I could tell that I'm "out of shape" as even considering the three-back felt a bit like brain overload. At my best, I was regularly doing seven-backs and eight-backs, and the occasional nine-back. Looking forward to getting back into it.

Thank you so much for your video. I was off coffee for a couple months and went back for a month. My anxiety is back and I can't meditate anymore! Day 2 and hard again, even after this short term back on it. I am feeling calm and gentle and willing to go through the hardships to get to peace again.

If you're trying to cut coffee due to health problems, try cutting back on coffee by mixing in some un-caffeinated Teeccino, over time you can wean yourself down to no coffee at all!

I'm on day 40. I look back and I'm thinking wow, poor decisions, poor sleep etc. Everyday I feel a bit better, I was drinking 4 lattes a day, sometimes 5,works out at about £220 a month. It's a clever buisness statagery, open a shop, sell drinks that are overpriced, give it a nice name, coloured cup etc😊,people will keep coming back until they realize they have to quit😊

Now when we are talking about science, we need to bear in mind the paper published might just have been bought by money. Out of all the people I know who've quit coffee, it definitely impacted their sleep quality big time, most of them didn't realise it until they quit. Always trust your own experience, not some potential fake research that permeate the world right now. It's a sick world we live in.

I consumed roughly 450 miligrams of coffee a day and quit cold turkey a week ago. The first 3 days I was very tired all day long. A week later though I feel amazing. I no longer crash in the afternoon during the last hour or two of work and my energy lasts until bed time. I'm more focused because my mind isn't rushing, this is invaluable because I legit listen to educational podcasts during the work day and now I feel like I actually learn something and can actually "listen" to them, Regular bowel movements, and sleep feels better(I always stopped using caffeine 10-12 hours before bed so it never affected it much) but I do wake up and im ready to go instead of waiting to dtink my coffee and that being what makes me "ready to go"

I drastically cut back on coffee, but at the same time I started to take evening walks right before going to sleep (in a safe neighborhood). I would start my routine, check my bed, brush my teeth, ;ower the thermostat etc. and then go for a walk. And at arriving home I went to bed as quick as possible. The result was that I slept better and woke up much better the next morning, more energized but calmer and happier at the same time.
