I already have the standard BT7 cameras do I need to just replace the monitor and buy new sensors ?
@RiversToRidgesRV4 күн бұрын
@EarlBalentine The BT7 and the BT7 TPMS use the same cameras. If you only bought the monitor, you would still need to take your existing camera off the RV so you can pair it with the new BT7 TPMS monitor, but it looks like you would save about $125. I would also contact Haloview Support just to verify and make sure the information on their website is correct before purchasing. P.S. We love our BT7 TPMS Hope this helps Dan

@crazycressy7986 It's hard to answer your question. Options are based on make, model, year among other things. You would need to find the options for your particular vehicle. The links to the "As-Built" spreadsheets I have in the description of the video are for a 2020 Ford F350, if you have something different, you would need to find the options for that vehicle. Dan

My problem is that if I allow the wardrobe to fully extend, it is pulling the face frame off of the cabinet. How can i change the system to stop the motors earlier. With this situation I can never resync and I must manually stop the slide. I also worry that it will not seal properly if I do not extend all the way.

@williamvann9338 I've never run across that issue, so I can't answer your question. However, here is a link to some Lippert support videos and manuals: support.lci1.com/in-wall-slide-out If you click on the 'Manuals' tab, then select the 'In-Wall® Slide-Out OEM Installation Manual' it should have the information you're looking for. On page 19 of the manual, it mentions the 'stop bracket'. I didn't read the whole manual, but it should cover how to adjust the slide. The videos are also a good reference, but I don't think there is a video for your issue. Hope this helps, and good luck Dan

@matttoensing4505 We travel full time in our RV so I get a chance to climb at a lot of gyms around the country. Deena (my wife) used to climb but can't anymore due to her knees, so now I have to find gyms with auto-belays. Our son lives in Clovis, CA, about a two hour drive from Yosemite, so whenever we visit, he takes me to climb in Yosemite. I'm not a great climber (5.8 - 5.9ish outside), just do it for fun, but our son is very good (5.12 - 5.13). He sets all the routes and I follow. We also got a chance to climb in J-Tree CA (Joshua Tree National Park) and Smith Rock, OR. We did some multi-pitch routes in Yosemite which are probably my favorite. I also did Double Cross in J-Tree which was a very fun crack to climb. Stay safe Dan

I have a similar problem Lippert controller code is displaying 2 green lights and 8 red lights I believe I have isolated the problem to a motor. My slide will come out 2 inches and in 2 inches. Is there a way to move the slideout manually because I am stuck. I can't work on the slide until I have enough room to remove the retention screw. It seems the manual over ride only works in one scenario. Pushing the slide is like pushing a car in park.
@RiversToRidgesRVАй бұрын
@KayGar Based on your comment, it sounds like you have an issue with motor 2. I assume you already went into the override mode and that didn't work? Again, based on your comment, my guess is motor 2 is not functioning and when you try to extend your slide, the motor 1 side goes out further than the motor 2 side and causing the the slide to jam. Eight red lights usually mean "Wire Short Between Controller and Motor". Have you tried to switch the motor 1 and motor 2 connections at the controller to see if the error code changes to motor 1? If so, it would most likely be a wiring issue. Couple other things to check: 1. Have you tried to access the retention screws from the outside of the RV? 2. Have you checked to make sure nothing is in the tracks or any obstructions under the floor that would prohibit the slide from extending? Here is a link to some Lippert troubleshooting videos and manuals, that may give you some additional troubleshooting ideas. support.lci1.com/in-wall-slide-out Hope this helps some Dan

Hi Dan, if I have a code #8, “a short between the slide control module and the slide” do you know what the procedures to fix are? Thanks in advance! Rick
@RiversToRidgesRVАй бұрын
@HighFlyerU2 this could be something like the cable going to one of the motors got pinched or shorted to ground. To verify, I would switch the cables from motor 1 and motor 2 going into the controller. (Put motor 1 connector into motor 2 connector and motor 2 connector into motor 1). If the fault code now shows the other motor, then you just confirmed it is a cable issue and most likely need to replace the cable. I’m a first time rv owner as of last week! I won at auction the Crusier 2017 Stryker toy hauler we wanted! Problem is after replacing the battery and making sure it was completely level the only small slide out still won’t go in! I have the exact system as you show on this video. One green flash and 8 red flash. When I do the 6 puches and hold for the 7th then hit the wall switch nothing not even a noise. I should have left almost a week ago and I’m now past desperate to get this in to drive 350 miles Please help me! How do I manually get it in when the electric manual override doesn’t work. Any advice on that error code? Thank you in advance for your and helping me get on the road!
@RiversToRidgesRV2 ай бұрын
@rachelsedely7361 congratulations on winning the auction, sorry for the issue you are having. If I understand correctly, you have 1 green flash and 8 red flashes? That error code is usually due to a "Wire Short Between Controller and Motor" and causes the Encoder not to send a signal. If you want to verify it actually is a wiring problem you could try to visually check the wires to see if they are pinched or damaged somewhere. You could also switch the connectors that go into the controller for motor 1 and motor 2 and see if the error code changes over to motor 2. If that is the case then you verified it is something in the wiring. There is a way to disengage the motors so you can physically push in the slide but it would be too hard to explain here. If you would like, send me an email to [email protected] and I'll send you a couple manuals that can explain different troubleshooting techniques. Hope this helps Dan
