Personaly I prefer the Galaxy Expoler. One of the coolest set what Lego renewed. Lots of briliant building technic in the set, and has no guns on the ship because don't need it. The classic space sets haven"t got guns or other weapons, because that time Lego made the sets freindlier, focusing the space exploring, not the fighting. Good old days :)

Benny's Spaceship is too over the top whith all the goofy details IMHO... But that kind of is true to the late stage Classic Space design language 😅 I prefer the 928 reboot.

I have a suggestion. Bionicle masks as wall decorations in a tiki bar.

You should move door do the left 2 or 4 studs and that part at the back where is like missing part of the building, 5x6 studs, you should build in toilet

Man as someone just coming out of a partially involuntary dark age (bu dun tss) resources like this are super crazy useful! I'm playing serious catch-up with this hobby as I'm nearly 10 years behind on some of these topics. I'll have to check out this book, thanks for the introduction ^^

I would put the firepit in the middle, and put two narrower (2 brick wide) tables on each side. And a third table vertically in front of the throne, so the tables form a U shape. That setup could house a really big feast, and it wouldn't really change the layout much or make things too cramped.

You put the small grey triangles on the wings of the Galaxy Explorer in the wrong place. This is what looks so strange when you went around the model.

I’m 44 and never owned anything lego in my life. My 5 yr old is on the higher end of autism and loves lego, so now I’m getting into it. In 2 weeks I’ve spent way too much. But I’m wanting to build him a nice world with 2 48x48 plates. I have no where near enough lego 🤦🏻‍♂️. But thanks for this video. You gave some great tips. Most people just rush through and I get no help.

The reason yours worked well is that you had an apple device nearby. Apparently coverage is limited if there aren't iphones close by.

Galaxy explorer new generation is the best

I'd love to figure out how to build this so it's more like the city sets and it's open in the back, I haven't found a mod that does that yet.

Uh, thats not how your supposed to use the ramp on the galaxy explorer. Your supposed to bring the one part all the way down to the ground then pull the ramp itself out. It will automatically drop to the ground and if the buggy is in there it will roll down. No wonder you said it was prone to breaking

I have made a grave error in getting a benny spaceship, its the same size as the galaxy explorer, which is bigger than the massive space police 3 galactic enforcer and smaller police 2 mediator
