The vocal track on this seems like it was pulled off the “Slide it in” version.. It’s identical but has different effects. I wonder if this was used as a way to get the sound dialed in for the 87 album? Since I know David was out of commission for a while with sinus infections/vocal issues.

Definitely is Sykes playing. Dan Huff is amazing, but John has that super aggressive attitude to his playing that is unmistakable.
