You man, tell me why you are so dour Won?t you smile at me? Look at where you?re fallen, look at what you are? Listen, I have come with a mission To remind you There has been a time when you were not like this Close your eyes? Close your eyes and remember ?cause I came from the past I?m a painting that shows what you?ve been Years have gone by Lost in your mind Turn at the mirror and see with the eyes? With the eyes of a child? You man through my eyes you can go back To your childhood When the colors of your future were so bright I see you forgot all the passion You?re so distant From the child you were before the twilight came Close your eyes? Close your eyes and remember ?cause I came from the past I?m a painting that shows what you?ve been Years have gone by Lost in your mind Turn at the mirror and see with the eyes? With the eyes of a child? Hey man, you?re so old Can?t you see that? In your soul now All your fields of passions have become so bright Close your eyes? Close your eyes and remember ?cause I came from the past I?m a painting that shows what you?ve been Years have gone by Lost in your mind Turn at the mirror and see with the eyes? With the eyes of a child? (Close your eyes?) (Close your eyes?) Whoa? Child!!! ?With the eyes of a child?

From what I reember this mix sucks compared to the one I have on the record which sound way more orgamic.

I can’t believe after all these years how much this song still affects me the way it does. Music by Nikolo Kotzev and the lyrics were written by my all-time favorite singer, Joe Lynn Turner (JLT). Off the CD 💿 by Brazen Abbot - Bad Religion (1997)

The vocal track on this seems like it was pulled off the “Slide it in” version.. It’s identical but has different effects. I wonder if this was used as a way to get the sound dialed in for the 87 album? Since I know David was out of commission for a while with sinus infections/vocal issues.
@swheels2608 Жыл бұрын
Definitely is Sykes playing. Dan Huff is amazing, but John has that super aggressive attitude to his playing that is unmistakable.
