With the DP of those times we have serious problems, Ian Gillan outside the band, Roger GlobeR fighting at all times with Richie ... However, the music, in spite of what they say, never Proficient. The worst part is that all this ended with the departure of good Blackmore and the return of the Rainbow.

That was my first thought. It didn’t sound like Paice, and I read that Lord wasn’t on it either. Maybe it’s a demo left over from the Rainbow days. It doesn’t even sound like a Deep Purple song. It’s still pretty good.
