Great Vehicles! I have a 92 2Dr LS automatic with 374K on it! Bought in 97. One of the last years 100% built in Japan!

I’d love to see you compare the CL and the TL SH-AWD.. I bought a cls6 and I love it.. I was also looking for SH-AWD manuals before i found the CL.. but those were harder to find

That’s a great idea, I’ll have to try and make a video comparing those two!

@theacuraguy1601 busy is me. Covid change my schedule at work. Overtime since then. Mess with my cars when I can. Go to CARS&COFFEE and bring my cars in rotation. T.L.&C.L still turn heads when they see gear shifter. We are a rare pair who got both.

How’s the reliability on the tl without Honda bias
@theacuraguy160112 күн бұрын
It has been very reliable for me. My biggest complaint I would say that possibly could get you into trouble if you don't do regular maintenance and regularly check your fluids would be the oil consumption. Eats about in between a half of a quart to 1 quart of oil in between oil changes. So not super fast but it's a common issue with these j37 engines.

Those are soooo heavy tho. The American Racing was probably lighter
@theacuraguy16014 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment; however, they are actually not heavier. The OEM wheels are much lighter at 16.3lbs where the American Racing wheels are 22.8lbs. When you pick them up side by side the weight difference is noticeable. One of the reasons I wanted to go back to OEM was because they are a way higher quality wheel.
@the_anton_kabanov4 ай бұрын
@@theacuraguy1601 everywhere I read those oem wheels are like 24 lbs without tires.
@the_anton_kabanov4 ай бұрын
@theacuraguy1601 I will weigh them soon because they're coming off and being replaced. I'll post a video as soon as my coilovers come in.

This is a 6-speed manual transmission. You "braking" and accelerating suggests you have an automatic.

Hey Acura guy, in terms of looking for a long-term project car and once a year track car, is this or a 2008 TL Type S a better bet?
@dj_d.r.a.e.6 ай бұрын
I’d say the 4th gen. They’re much more fun to drive, feel way more safer because of the awd and handle really well. I own a 2010 TL 6mt and I’ve driven plenty of Type s and base 3rd gen’s. My main gripe with the 3rd gen is how unstable the rear feels around corners
