I’m jealous about the 8 cc of prp. No doctor near me does doses that large. I got a 4.5 cc injection and it did nothing. That kit looks awesome.

Dr Peng, I really appreciate these very informative videos. I’m considering getting PRP & am wondering if I do get this high dose would I need another injection soon after or will it last a year?
@jairivasmen15 сағат бұрын
Dr Peng, I have been following you for a long time. Would you be willing to try a true leucocyte-free, activated PRP, to compare the immediate anti-inflammatory effect and also long term due to the strong coagulationand the fibrin? That's how we do it in Europe

Is this procedure meant to be painful? My mum went through it and she was in excruciating pain during the injection.

Jeffrey, people want to know why isometrics lower BP. Most of the health professionals don't even know how to take BP.

I had it done today, and I shit you not...once the panic of having that needle inside my knee was over...so was the pain. PRP resolved my meniscus issue and a shoulder tear I had over 3 years ago, and I work loading trucks and train jiu-jitsu almost every day.

Finally had full rotator cuff tear confirmed along with 5 cm retraction and this is my chance to regain tendon flexibility before reattachment surgery. Worth the risk for me

Some good information thank you for that. However, I think you left an important aspect out of your presentation and that is as follows: a rotator cuff tear at its core becomes a stability issue, not a rotational movement issue, therefore premature physical therapy could actually injure the joint because there's too much improper movement going on in the shoulder joint, a possible remedy short of surgery would be a sling and a shoulder brace both of which can be purchased on Amazon pretty inexpensively. Wear these until the joint becomes more solid, especially the shoulder brace at night would be helpful.

I'm 44 y/o, minimal excercise my whole life. Knees bagan clicking with painful snapping 2 months ago. Slipped on the stairs last week while carrying heavy stuff and it got so painful i could hardly walk. physical therapy worked a little then failed completely. Xray shows signs of osteoarthritis on both my knees. Began taking the combination suggested in this video this week, with the addition of Omega fish oil supplement, and the pain feels to be getting a bit better. Will begin excercising more to strengthen up my leg muscles as much as I can before my 50s 🫶🏻 Thanks doc, and best wishes everyone

I can so relate to this. I have had a relentless stabbing knife pain in back for over a year that makes me sitting and position intolerant. Level 8 to 10 pain. Jumped all the hoops you speak of in your vid & more with various specialists...wash, rinse, repeat with no improvement. I recently saw U.C. Davis Neuro and they recommended Muscle/Myofascial Trigger Point Injection. I'm going tomorrow for the procedure. I will be doing myofascial massage as well to help with nerve restriction. I had 3 herniated disc's and the muscles compensated for the instability in my spine. I have numbness and tingling as well. This is SO me! I want to learn MFR and help others with this when I am physically able to.

I'm 55, was diagnosed with high blood pressure been on the meds I just found out from my Phamacist over 2.5 years. I was put on olmesartan. I was pre diabetic but reversed it and my doctors head was spinning he said how did you do it? I said i went on a low carb diet and check my glucose everyday 1.5 hrs after each meal. cut out the potatoes and bread. I lost 12kg in 6 months without exercise, i have to loose more weight to try address the BP. This was 6 months ago Doctor had me on statins I felt awful on them had no energy and had overall muscle weakenss. Came off those and felt a lot better. But over the past 2 years I just had no energy, dizziness and times and absolutley wrecked tired after some work. I decided to come off the blood pressure meds, bought a BP Monitor and am now going to try and tackle it without this horrible medication. I'm 2 days without it so far and feel a lot better. Ive read I shouldn't do this. I would prefer have some quality of life for the next 10 to 20 years and die of a stroke or heart attack then go around like and old man having no energy to do anything, Another point is the standard Normal BP has gone down to 120/80. why did this happen? All along the standard blood pressure diastolic was 100 + your age. This means that more people are being prescribed blood pressure medication than used to be the case. If you get your glucose under control first then work on the BP with exercise weight and diet. I will never take a statin again they are horrible drug, I could barely walk and i was on a low dose..

This video makes me think about the "contraction-relaxation" training that was developed in the 20ths for stress control (Jacobson) You contract each group of muscles 6 second inhaling and then relax each one exhaling. Beginning from the head to the feet or from the feet to the head.

Sounds HIGHLY questionable and more research is needed. When insurance won't cover - be skepital of the treatment. Also.... No one mentions HOW much difference this makes. If I pee into the ocean..Did I make the ocean bigger? Yes! ...but when improvement is less than 1% - then who cares.

I walked today with 5# weights on my ankles, it was different not gonna lie. I've lost 40# since June and 40# more to lose. Carnivore, no sugar, no carbs, no soda, no processed foods, LMNT unflavored one pack a day, I'm gonna get a jump rope today because I need to sweat more.❤

Hey doc, i love the content. I got a bmac for my right knee 4 days ago, i got it for my meniscus tears and knee pain during activity (hiking) and exercises including squats, lunges and pivoting. I feel as if im making good progress with the healing and soreness after. In fact it feels so good that i feel like im ready for bicycling, light jogging, and pilates and yoga and some lower body calisthenics. I really only feel some soreness at the harvest site and stiffness in the joint. However, my PT friend recommended to avoid loading my quads or doing any exercise that “pumps” my quad or thigh muscles as the mechanisms that lead to muscle pumps and DOMS are counterproductive to the mechanism for the stem cell healing and regenerating my meniscus. He even told me to avoid intense upper body exercises, even if the chosen exercises are seated or laying down. He said that youll be risking the stem cells getting absorbed by the lymphatic system and just pissing them out. Its been a while since i took A&P 1&2 so im a bit out of touch w the subject. Basically what i want to ask is how long should i wait before hitting lower body at the gym again or incorporate running and cycling. I would consider myself somewhat of a hybrid athlete with a high level of functionality before my procedure. Thanks!
