I have just turned 50 and have had a bakers cyst now for about 9 months. I can't bend my knee and when I do I scream in pain. I am living in terror, every time I have to bend my knee to get into the car, sit anywhere, walk. I can no longer do anything. I can't walk, kayak, sail, shop, clean, cycle, go out , or earn money. My life is over.

I am a 77 year old woman with osteoarthritis that recently became excruciating in one knee. I've been receiving PT for the pain --possibly also aggravated by tendinitis or a sprain although I had no injury before the pain suddenly appeared one morning while lying in bed, and while I see some improvement in strength, I am in a lot of pain the day after PT and don't want to do my exercises at home. Your scientific presentation, however, has given me reason to persevere. Thank you!

I found your video today and followed along and had some pain in some of the exercises but did them all. I plan to follow these. I have had a computer Job for 4 years now working from home. Last year at the 3 year anniversary of the job i started having pain in my left shoulder and upper arm when doing certain things. Like putting a jacket on or reaching up in the cupboard to get a plate or cooking pot. I have been dealing with the discomfort for a year as we have had no insurance. So i am hoping these exercises will help this go away if i am diligent to do them, Which i plan on doing. Thank you

A Kenalog 40 corticosteroid shot was given in my jaw and it gave me trigeminal neuralgia and burning mouth syndrome… can’t function now I just sit here in chronic pain in my head all day. This is not acceptable, corticosteroids are evil and the doctors who administer them are evil.

These exercises really helped me but I think they caused my ear crystals to dislodge. I've been having positional dizziness since I started but it took me awhile to realize what it was (probably) from. Dr. Peng, does this sound reasonable?

This is the story of my life. over 9 years of pain. Seen multiple general doctors, Physical medicine, Sports medicine, Pain management, Internal medicine, Physical Therapy physicians with no direct answers or solutions. Ive had 3 MRI's, Xrays, ultrasounds and cortizol injections. No real results other than slight wear on a few disks in my back but not enough to pinch a nerve. Many of these doctors at Kaiser act like its a waste of their time and that I should just live with it and continually get injections and even on the last visit they wanted to prescribe me antidepressants to deal with the pain. Nobody knows exactly what it is and they all offer no solutions and or treatments. They have gone as far as telling me to accept this lifestyle of pain and give up any hobbies or activities that might trigger the inflammation of my trigger points yet on the next breath they say I should work out the muscles to strengthen them and fix my posture. I don't know what to do!! I'm 37 and the pain is sporadic and can last weeks at a time when inflamed. They offer no possible treatments.
my doctor told me to take celebrex for 3 days, and i stopped just a day before PRP. does celebrex count?

We know the benefits of it. The big question is HOW does it work to get you these benefits? Every video on creatine tells you the benefits, but not the HOW?

Very informative but there are so many outs for Dr.'s to blame it on if this doesn't work. It's an out of pocket procedure that isn't cheap. It sure sounds like snake oil, the jury is out for sure. I'm willing to give it a try, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Clinical studies are all very well but they use averages. In order to average, say, 7500 steps a day in real life you have to target something like 10,000 a day because there will be days when you don't hit the target.

I'm 54 years old. 3 years ago I had my first gout attack. I also had prostate and plumbing issues. I would also have to wear knee supports for doing carry-outs (I'm a member of SAR). I was 200 lbs. I started hard-core keto, eliminating seed oils and eating a lot of anti-inflammatory and gut-promoting foods. Things like turmeric with ground pepper, ginger, lots of animal fat, celery, salad with homemade dressing, ACV, whole lemons, micros such as magnesium glycinate, vitamin D with K2, zinc, LOTS of sun. I'm now 160 lbs and am training for my red card for a REMS team (getting a red card requires carrying a 45 lb pack and doing 3 miles with it in under 45 minutes). I feel better now than when I was 26 years old. Intermittent fasting is also a game changer. I am now one of the mules in a carry out. 3 years ago I had to step back and take a leadership role as my gout had me disabled for a good 6 months.

I'd be curious to know what your views are on intermittent fasting. Is there strong scientific evidence for the benefits of doing this or is it just snake oil?
